Sunset Shores is an absolute gem. From the moment we stepped inside, we knew we had found something special. The home is beautifully updated with a clean, modern design that still manages to feel incredibly cozy and welcoming. Every detail has been so thoughtfully considered — it’s clear that Sarah, the hosts, take great pride in offering an exceptional guest experience. The location was absolutely beautiful. Nestled in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood but right on the Mississippi River, it offered the perfect balance of privacy and natural beauty. It was truly lovely to sit out on the deck or in the three-season porch and watch the river go by. The calming sound of the water and the serene surroundings made it easy to relax and unwind. I do not have enough space here to write everything I want about how wonderful this home was but I will just say Sarah the host was amazing to work with the houses and location are beautiful and I look very much forward to a future stay here.

Wonderful place! This is a quiet home in a quiet, safe neighborhood. The photos don't do it justice. It's a light-filled, beautifully-appointed space sheltered by leafy green trees on the front deck. There are many thoughtful touches throughout. The beds and linens are soft and cozy. Good water pressure. Very clean! The apartment is centrally located and just a short drive to so many great restaurants, bakeries, attractions. It's a short walk to beautiful Lake Bde Maka Ska--great for running, walking or biking around! Chris was a very responsive host. He was available to answer any question we had and did so quickly. This AirBnB was a great choice for us! Thank you for letting us stay here, Chris and Jon!

Great place. Eric had wonderful recommendations for walkable restaurants and other things to do in the area. The yard and garage area were a hit. Very friendly host.

The house was charming, and had lots of amenities. The kitchen had more pots and pans, silverware, appliances than I’ve ever seen at any other Airbnb where we’ve stayed. It was awesome!! Having use of the garage is also rare, and it was so convenient. We were there in the spring, and it would be really helpful in the winter. Kudos to excellent hosts for making the atmosphere so friendly and warm.

Great spot in the heart of Saint Paul. My husband and I came into town to visit friends and go to grand old day. The location is super convenient, walkable, dog friendly, and cozy. The neighborhood has a ton of great restaurants and cafes to go to.

David’s house was comfortable, quiet, and had everything we needed for our week in Minneapolis. It was a great location for easily checking out many different areas of the twin cities, and very convenient to get to many restaurants, grocery stores, and parks. We wouldn’t hesitate to book this house again when we come back through Minnesota. Thanks for a wonderful stay!!

We enjoyed our stay at Shane’s place. The home is lovely and quirky. It had everything we needed and was flexible for a family group (all adults) in Minneapolis for a wedding. We enjoyed the back yard one morning. Indoors was surprisingly quiet

For such a cheap stay, it exceeded my expectations! Very easy to get in, very private, and all amenities were there. I found it to be very cozy and a great place to sleep for the night without dropping hundreds of dollars on a hotel. The only thing worth noting that I haven’t seen in other reviews — because it’s an older house and you’re in the basement, you do hear creaking and footsteps from above, as well as water rushing through nearby pipes occasionally. Light sleepers may want to bring ear plugs if they need absolute silence to sleep. (Yes, there is a group of homeless people a few blocks down the road. It’s a city. They’re not going to bother you.)

My family and I selected Aaron and Colleen as hosts based on their five-star rating and safe location. However, we received more than what was expected. The first day, we were met with a personalized note, chocolates, and drinks in the fridge, including homemade cold brew! Such a thoughtful touch made us feel right at home. We were busy with family activities in the city, so we didn’t use the Peloton, hot tub, or sauna as expected. Still, returning to immaculate, extremely comfortable, stylish accommodation was lovely. The mattress was perfect! We also enjoyed listening to various records on the record player while playing cards and board games; it felt nostalgic. We enjoyed our stay, to say the least, and hope to revisit our experience at some future time.

Definitely recommend this place! I stayed with my three sisters and it was just perfect!

I absolutely have nothing negative to say! This place was exactly as described. It was super cozy, immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, full of amenities, and the owners were beyond quick with their communication. Five stars!!

I was on the road for 23 hours before finally arriving at Tina’s. It was my first time to Minnesota and I am very glad that I chose her place for my family and I. It was peaceful, clean, quiet and very homely. We slept so soundly. It felt as though I hadn’t left home in how at peace we were. Tina responded to any queries I had promptly. I was clean, the kitchen is well equipped, and the bathroom is very clean. The only downside for me was that I didn’t book her place for a longer time. I am definitely going back for a longer visit. If you’re still reading this please book already before someone else takes your dates. You won’t regret it one bit! 😀

Andy was everything you could ask for in a host. He was very responsive and helpful but never intrusive. His place is lovely and very clean! The bed and linens in the main bedroom were extremely comfortable! The back yard had many unique features that, unfortunately, I ran out of time to take advantage of - next time for sure! Andy provides many thoughtful touches including a guidebook to the unit and surrounding area. So many interesting restaurants and things to do within walking distance and close to major highways when a car is needed. I highly recommend a stay here!

Alison's place is in a great location for a stay in the Uptown neighborhood. We had a wonderful short stay and enjoyed the lush and private back yard. Short walks to great restaurants and the lakes.

I would like to give this apartment a 5 for the clean, pleasant environment inside and out and good host communication. However, it was not quite as well equipped as I typically find in an airbnb and therefore a 4 for value.

This was hands down the best Airbnb we've ever stayed in! We visited as a family and had an amazing time. The location is perfect—just a short walk to downtown with stunning views of the town. The space itself is absolutely gorgeous—every detail was so thoughtfully designed and beautifully styled. It truly felt like a home away from home. The glam touches throughout make it an ideal spot for a girls' weekend or bachelorette party. I wasn’t even planning to get ready in the mornings, but the chic vanity area was too fun to resist! Megan (the host) was incredible—super responsive, helpful, and kind, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We absolutely loved our stay and would 100% recommend it. Can’t wait to come back!

This place was exactly what we needed. Super responsive hosts (within 10 min every time!). We felt right at home. Fast WiFi for work, beautiful and great location for restaurants, bike paths and even some clubs near by. We were very happy with our stay. Can’t wait to stay again.

My husband and parents and I were in town for the weekend to visit our daughter. The area was perfect and centrally located for us. The condo was clean and well kept. Jason was very responsive to questions I had regarding parking. I just wish the weather would have nicer to use the outdoor deck! I would say the only downfall (and no fault of the owner) is that it was a bit noisy at night with people outside. However, when going to a city that is expected.

Karen’s place had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. It truly felt like home. The park right in front of the house made evening walks especially enjoyable. I’d recommend it to other guests!

There was one issue with the tub and bath sink drain. They had someone out the next morning. Very responsive. The communication was also very good, again very responsive with any questions I had.

Was needing to be close to University of Minnesota for campus visits and tours. Was a quick drive across the bridge, but we also chose to walk to campus a few times since the weather was nice. It was an easy 15-20 minute walk. Great Coop grocery store just a block away and nice walking paths and quiet neighborhoods around. House has a historic vibe with all the necessary amenities.

We had a great stay at Marie's. We appreciated the unexpected bonus of being able to check in a bit early. There was ample space and it was a unique building. We enjoyed eating dinner on the back porch and walking to get breakfast and Italian pastries. We'd absolutely stay again.

We loved staying here! This was a very comfortable apartment for two of us and it’s spacious enough to be comfortable for more guests too. I especially appreciated the full working kitchen, high efficiency laundry facilities, and great temperature controls, lots of very soft throw blankets, and ample WiFi. We both worked from the apartment and sometimes both had Zoom meetings at once, and there was never an issue. We hope to be back! This place is a keeper.
