Wheneverwood Hideaway: FREE farm fresh eggs w/stay

Unique and tranquil getaway. We have all the amenities you will need for a great stay. A stylish little cabin in the country with access to walking trails, a pool, and a hot tub($) at the main house. We have farm animals and we run an animal rescue that can have up to 32 dogs. They stay in a fenced-in yard where the pool is located and love to swim with guests! We have added Starlink internet to the cabin as well as a smart TV to greatly enhance your entertainment options during your stay.

Lake House Cottage

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway! Enjoy swimming off the back deck, the ambiance of sitting on the many decks enjoying the beauty of the lake or just relaxing to watch the sunset. If the weather is cooler you may want to enjoy sitting around the gas firepit on the deck or the wood burning fireplace in the Sunroom! The one bedroom has a queen size bed and in the den a pull out sofa bed for two. Less than 10 minutes to downtown for all you shopping and great restaurants too!

If you've ever wanted to experience living in a tiny home while fishing from the backyard come stay here! The second bedroom is a beautiful loft in this 6 year old 900 sq ft lakefront retreat. Cute Athens is only 5 miles away, and Canton's First Monday is 30 miles away. After a fun day of fishing, kayaking, SUP races, swimming in the lake, pedal boating, feeding the ducks, cornhole, or frisbee throwing enjoy a gorgeous east TX sunset with your favorite beverage and then a fire with s'mores.

Dogwood Cabin on Scenic Wooded Mossbridge Farm

Our two cabins Dogwood and Holly are located on a quiet, wooded 10 acre retreat that is 8 miles from Athens. Our special feature is a spring fed creek that flows year round and has it's own micro climate that is perfect for native ferns, mixed hardwood forest and dogwoods. We have provided a nature trail for bird watching and exercise. Recently we designed and constructed a beautiful pond with three waterfalls and a deck overhanging the water with chairs for enjoying our private paradise.

Highsaw Lakefront Escape - Dock, Swim, Fishing

Waterfront relaxation directly on Lake Palestine in East Texas. Fish, boat, paddle board, kayak, or spend the day swimming and floating directly off the private dock. Or unwind and enjoy the view from the large deck overlooking the lake. The house is fully equipped for a comfortable lake vacation. Great bird and boat watching. Get away from the crowds in our well equipped home on the lake! There is something special about being on the lake, and we would love to share our property with you.

Hidden Gem Cottages: Sapphire Cottage

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. The house has a king bed in the master with attached bath, a secondary bedroom with 2 queens, an additional hall bath and queen sleeper sofa in the living room. It sits on a stocked pond with a fishing pier. You will have access to fish and relax at our catch and release pond. The outdoor space also includes a patio with gas grill, large front porch overlooking the pond, covered back porch overlooking woods and a fire pit.

Lake Athens Experience

Beautiful view of spring fed beautiful Lake Athens from the front porch. A little slice of paradise to relax and enjoy. Watch the abundent deer stroll through this scenic quiet neighborhood. At the end of the street is the marina which hosts fabulous dining and boat ramp or walk to the Texas Parks Freshwater Fishery for a tour and fishing. Wifi and cable TV now available. Located in the beautiful piney woods of East Texas with breathtaking view of the surrounding hills and valleys.
