In many ways, this apartment echos the grandeur of all who have come before it, while also providing the comfort and simplicity needed by guests who come to visit this incredible city. At the end of the day, you want a peaceful place to think, breathe, and sleep. The beds are perfect, the windows (when closed) keep out the city noise) and the loftiness of the rooms provide space to breathe. I know we will rerun again and again to this very special apartment—unless it is booked because of this review! This is a truly special location.

We had a great stay in Rome, Germanas flat was a perfect home for us. Trastevere is loud and full of live and a great starting point for getting to know the town. Germana was a very good host to us, thanks again!

The house was great, very spacious, clean and had everything we needed. We had an issue with the air and one of the toilets when we arrived Maurizio came to the house and took care of the issue. He was very responsive and helpful. The place is very close to Vatican City but it is a little far from other places, however there are buses and train near the house. There are plenty of restaurants and stores near the house. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

We stayed here for 3 nights in May 2025.The location is central to everything and lots of shopping and restaurants close by. The large outdoor patio was a great spot to rest and relax at the end of a busy walking day. The beds were comfortable. Apartment was clean. The hosts were very flexible in allowing us to store our luggage a few hours before check in time. We would definitely stay here again should we visit Rome !

Excellent hosts. Paola and Constanza know how to run properties to rent. Very organized and very helpful. The property was on the river right where we wanted. It had all the amenities to make our stay as effortless as possible. I recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay In The Trastevere area. As a chef, this place has an excellent kitchen set up if you want to Cook a few meals yourself.

Massimo & Marina are superb hosts. We had a medical emergency during our stay & they went out of their way to assist. Nothing was too much trouble. We could not have managed without their unselfish help with the hospital, etc & interpreting help. They deserve an Airbnb Gold Medal. The apt is in a great location for seeing the best sights & has convenient shops & cafes very close.

We had a fabulous stay, the apartment is cosy, super clean, really quiet, cute terrace to enjoy breakfast in the shade and afternoon sun. Every little detail is there and the fridge is stocked with items as well as coffee, sweets….Best apartment ever 💯Good backery just around the corner, supermarkets just a short walk, easy with tram 8 to the train station and city centre and bus to Vatican. We had some excellent diners in local restaurants and it was nice to get out of the busy centre. But most of all Valentina is absolutely great,reacts fast, could leave our luggage until afternoon departure. She is just the best and made our stay perfect! Grazie mille ❤️

This apartment and its owners were every bit as charming as advertised. The location is a bit outside the main hustle of downtown but in a great neighborhood with lots of cafes and restaurants, and all the main sights are easily accessible by public transportation. The apartment itself was lovely and very comfortable and well-equipped. I did not need anything, but the owners live just 200 meters away in case of emergency. That also means they know the neighborhood well and left great recommendations. All around I had a wonderful stay! Thank you to José Alberto and his wife!

Livia's place was lovely! The location was perfect and we were able to walk everywhere. Upon arrival Livia went over everything from her favorite spots to getting around the city with a map and helpful booklet she put together. Not only that she was extremely helpful and responded quickly to any questions or concerns we had. Overall a good experience.

If you are searching for an amazing place to book in Rome…you can stop the search…you found it. If I could give 6 stars I would Very rare to have a one bedroom with a large, bed, a spacious kitchen and comfortable sitting area; and that is before the amazing roof top patio. A great place to have breakfast to start the day and drinks and snacks in the evening. At night the bedroom is quiet, as it is located in the back. You are located in a beautiful tree lined neighbourhood, full of shops, restaurants. An oasis after a visit to many of the crowded sites. I went to Rome to see the sites, not expecting Traverses to be one of them. Definitely made our trip to Rome special

Our family of 11 enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, historical home. The check in was easy with clear instructions. The neighborhood was friendly and we walked to the close by market and restaurants Public transportation was easily accessible The host responded quickly to our inquiries and provided helpful information.

Paolo has an incredible spot in the perfect location. He provided us with all of the best recommendations for not just restaurants and attractions, but also all of the local markets, cafes and best places to get essentials. The stay itself was extremely clean and comfortable. It felt right at home and was easily accessible to public transportation which we easily utilized to access all of the attractions we wanted to see in Rome. I would highly recommend staying!

We had a great stay at Stefano’s place! The apartment was perfect in every way. Upon arrival, we were able to immediately get settled and begin relaxing in the outdoor space (with sweeping views of the city). The multiple seating areas were excellent, and we loved taking advantage of the hot tub. Such an awesome way to relax after sightseeing all day. The indoor spaces were also very comfortable and functional. The two bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect, and the living room, dining room, and kitchen were great for our needs. The location is close to restaurants, shops, and more. Highly recommend this place for a couple, family, or even a single traveler. We hope to return!

Alex was an ideal host. Met us on arrival and showed us around. He was always available via messages if required. The house was fantastic and the gardens and pool were beautiful. The pool is quite deep with a diving board. We decided not to rent a car and taxis were quite expensive so we relied on buses and the metro to get around. A metro bus ticket is 1.50 euros which gives you 100 minutes of travel on the bus and metro ( only one metro ride per ticket ). There are 3 big supermarkets including Lidl which can be reached catching the 88 bus outside the gate. The 906 bus can take you to Valle Aurelia where you can catch the metro to Rome Central. Overall, we all had a fantastic time and loved every minute of it. A fantastic host of a lovely villa.

Cosy apartment with real fire

Perfection. Absolutely loved it. It had everything we needed. Comfortable, clean and safe. A really peaceful sanctuary after the hectic feeling of the city centre. But so centrally located. We cycled to the centre on bikes we hired from a bike shop about 5 mins walk away. It took about 25 mins to cycle to the centre. We also got taxis a couple of times for convenience and it was a 10 min drive to the centre/termini station, cost 10-20 euros. The swimming pool and beautiful garden were a godsend in the heat. Ale and Roby were welcoming, kind and helpful, such lovely people. The friendly family cats were the icing on the cake! Highly recommended - we were sad to leave! Thank you both for sharing your lovely villa!

Secret garden in the middle of nowhere! 😀 - 30 min from airpor - check in perfect - 1h till Colloseum - if you go by public transport - bus - few nice family restaurant near by and food stores. Aperol Spritz - 5 euro , espresso 1.10 euro - paradise - house was really nice - garden- amazing - furniture and cutlery - tired - need some updates - it would be great, if there were any toys for kids , at least a ⚽️ - pool season starts only from June, that was really sad, because weather was perfect for Latvians + 24. But our kids and us we felt there like at home, in the end of the day we were happy to come back and enjoy the secret garden and Italian hospitality! Thank you!

Lovely garden, spacious rooms, excellent location for visiting Rome using the Metro and great for visiting nearby places (Tivoli, Ostia Antica, Frascati) by car. Very convenient for supermarket.

I cannot say enough about how perfect the property was for our family. Spacious, homey, the pool was amazing, and the ping pong table was a great addition for our kids! There were games, books, cards all available for our use. They connected us with a chef for a cooking class at the house that was incredible. They were quick to respond and help throughout our time. I am so grateful for our time there and would 100% recommend and return!
