Chalet Salamandre

Enjoy the peace, the view and the comfort of this stylish chalet. Very suitable as a romantic getaway or relaxing in nature with your family. We are at 650 meters altitude, in a hot summer it is always a little cooler than in the valley and with a breeze, very pleasant. At night, the lake cools down and it's a good night's sleep. We don't need air conditioning. Dogs are welcome, €15 per stay. For the winter months there is a wood stove. The firewood is not included in the rental.

The 1700's 'Mountain Village Studio' in Nohèdes (990m alt.) has been fully restored in 2021 with a contemporary interior design overlooking the village square of Nohèdes with stunning views of the valley and mountains. The location with a small terrace ensures a quiet and peaceful setting. There are great hiking opportunities into the Natural Reserve of Nohèdes with it's 4 lakes and stunning views of the Pyrenées mountains and the Mediterranean Sea in the distance.

However, its location is ideal for the practice of cycling, hiking, golf and especially skiing, they are Arcalís only 15 min, the Pal gondola 5 min and the Funicamp (Granvalira) 15 min.

A convenient location, in a quiet village, ideal for those exploring the Ariege or those just passing through - 3 minutes from the N20 and 2 minutes from the D117. Private entrance, private courtyard and own keys. Two minutes from foot of the Pain de Sucre (627m) with its splendid views and two minutes from an 8 hectare park which borders the River Scios. A very beautiful charming cottage, renovated with a lot of heart and taste. The cottage is 12 minutes from St Girons and its shops located on the edge of a rural hamlet Cap d'Erp, with fabulous views of the virgin forests, valley, hills and mountains. With the Col d'Ayens 2 km walk or 3 km drive away, it's a dream starting point for hikers, trailers and mountain bikers.
