The Land of Englampment, Golden Mountain Sanctuary

This was such a lucky last-minute find!! Extremely peaceful!! After flying in for a camping trip, the weather was much colder and rainier than expected. Within an hour of requesting to book, Gerald sent the needed information to access his super unique and well-thought-out property! We still had enough daylight to enjoy the peaceful drive in and get settled before dark. If you're looking for peace and quiet, enjoy outdoor spaces, and more of a self-reliant traveler, I absolutely recommend staying here. Because it had rained all night before, it was a little slippery getting back out, but I had no problem with a 2WD SUV. The clearance helped us not get stuck but probably most of the time a car is able to access the property just fine as some others have stated in reviews.

Hilltop Nest

Bett's cabin is a short and convenient stop off the highway, with just enough dirt roads to add a film of dust to the car that says, "We went somewhere." The cabin was comfortable and we enjoyed our hummingbird neighbors. The surrounding area is quiet and peaceful. Being a cabin, there were a few yellow jackets buzzing around. One of them snuck through an open door, but it left without too much fuss after we asked it nicely, "Please, kind sir, yellow jackets belong on the outdoor side of the door." The bathtub was a hit with persons who think that taking a bath is a good use of time. The rest of us made efficient use of the shower. All rooms were cozy and well-stocked with the types of things you would expect to find. It has a super-awesome grandpa chair. Would stay here again just for the chair! (AND THE HUMMINGBIRDS!!!)

Casa of Watermelon Suenos - Artist Retreat

RebeccaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Carolyn was very thoughtful in the decor and added extras, such as candles, books, records/record player, tarot cards, yoga mat, etc. There were days of rain but the view from the living + doing area with the extras in the home kept us occupied and content. There is a close access point to the Cibola Forest, I recommend checking out. Many nearby hiking opportunities. While being away from the city/urban spaces, the home is close enough to venture for different experiences. We went to Santa Fe, Jemez Springs, and other spots within an hrs drive or less. Carolyn and Alex were very responsive and accommodating in all ways. My teen and I stayed for 6 nights, it truly did begin to feel like a second home.

E Mountains Home

ElenaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Exceeded expectations to find a comfortable place to stay while attending an SCA event down the road. Superbly clean throughout the mobile home. Each bedroom has their own bathroom with the master having a spacious bath and separate shower. Amenities like Roku TV and a Primo water dispenser are the cherry and whip cream on top.

Sandia Mountain Tiny House Retreat

AlexandreaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Such a wonderful mountain getaway! I grew up in the area so it felt amazing to be able to stay so nearby to all my memories. The bed was very comfortable and the window overhead was an amazing feature. Shower was comfortable enough for a 6’3” man and most of the areas while small were not too uncomfortable. Definitely would love to stay here again.
