THE BEST! My first view out the small terrace was possibly the most beautiful I will ever see: a large mountainside of fields, olive and grape vineyards, quaint homes and large monasteries, winding roads and long high speed passenger trains! Inside, the design and materials of this home cannot be beat: a beautiful combination of 3000 year old history stocked full of modern comforts! Open the doors and windows and feel the breeze waft through smelling of honeysuckle and jasmine. Giovanni’s Castle on the Rock is just amazing. We especially were interested in the Orvieto tuff caves dug by the Bronze Age Etruscans. Beneath our feet were two floors of these caves, beautifully finished and lit with marble and tile floors and steps. Nearby were two more remarkable systems of caves: Il Labirinto and Della La Cava. The latter is less than a block away. Both are far better than the Orvieto Underground! Treat yourselves to this delightful discovery! It’s the perfect rest stop in a medieval city!

An Unforgettable Stay with the Best Host Ever! Flaminia is truly the best host we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel completely at home. She’s incredibly helpful—always available and willing to assist with anything we needed, no questions asked. Her warm, down-to-earth personality made our stay not only comfortable but genuinely special. What made the experience even more memorable was her recommendation to try her father’s amazing Roman cuisine, perfectly paired with local wines. It was an unforgettable meal and a true highlight of our trip. The farmhouse itself is beautifully located in the heart of Tuscany. It’s the perfect base for exploring nearby cities and the stunning countryside. Thanks to the central location, we were able to easily travel around and soak in all the beauty Tuscany has to offer. Great accommodation. It is an escape from the city with beautiful surrounding farmland, whilst Orvieto is a short drive away and a beautiful visit in itself. The place can be enjoyed in complete privacy. Another important aspect is that the garden is completely fenced, which allowed me to enjoy the property & my holiday without having to worry about my dogs getting out. Leonardo & Laura are friendly & responsive hosts, and made me feel right at home.

We loved the garden, so peaceful and beautiful area. We went for a few walks along the roads. Easy to reach many different tourist sites.

Wir waren sieben Nächte in der Unterkunft und haben uns wohlgefühlt. Die Kommunikation war sehr gut und Maurizio hilfsbereit und der Empfang herzlich (inklusive Kuchen). Das Haus und die Umgebung sind sehr schön, man hat einen tollen Blick in die Landschaft und kann kleine Wanderungen vom Haus aus machen. Auf der Terrasse gibt es Sitzmöglichkeiten, in der Sonne und im Schatten von Bäumen. Supermärkte und Orvieto sind mit dem Auto schnell erreichbar. Empfehlenswert sind Ausflüge nach Bolsena und Civitia di Bagnoregio, die innerhalb einer halben Stunde Fahrtzeit erreichbar sind. Leider konnten wir den Pool nicht nutzen, da das Wetter noch zu kühl war. Wir können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Lovely home and surroundings! Alessandro was a fantastic host! The wine, figs and olive oil he shared with us were wonderful. We highly recommend staying here for your Tuscan getaway!

Antonella's house was a perfect vacation spot for us. to start I must say that the pictures do not do justice to the place, being located on the hilltop, providing suggestive view in all directions. the kitchen was well equiped, the rooms were big and comfy, board games in the living room and a ball to play outside. but all this is nothing compared to the charming hospitality of Antonella and ulli that sheard products from their garden with us welcoming us with wine and cheese Thay make on the farm. this place is a jem of a vacation for kids as well. the location was also very good, 20 min from Orvieto with plenty of dining options supermarkets and we also found a lovely bakery down hill in chiconia. most recommend especially if you like the idea of airbnb being hosted by the owner who really cares for his guests.

What a fantastic place! If you are looking for a peaceful place in nature to relax and unwind in Italy, look no further than this farm stay. Silvia and Alberto were excellent hosts, very friendly and helpful, the accommodations are nice, and the views are spectacular. An added bonus was their adorable dog, who greeted us at our car, hung out with us often and went on nearly every walk with us. We already miss her! Alberto also did a cooking class for us, which was a wonderful experience and so much fun. We highly recommend this Airbnb!
