Enjoy life in this quiet, on the outskirts and yet centrally located apartment with direct access to the forest and fields. Our old half-timbered house, formerly a mill, is located directly on the Mühlgraben, with the local history museum on the neighboring property and the old hunting lodge opposite. The barrier-free apartment has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, its own garden with two wooden terraces, kitchen, spacious living/dining room with floor-to-ceiling windows and its own parking space.

Located on the outskirts of the village of Bauhaus, the Waldhessian landscape is ideal for hiking, forest bathing or excursions by e-bike or you can relax in our spacious garden with terrace / balcony. Wooden house 13 sqm in the middle of our large orchard with mini kitchen, wood-burning stove, outhouse and solar power. There are 2 beds that can be set up as a double bed or single beds. Consciously kept simple, no TV and Wi-Fi, but plenty of PEACE and NATURE. The garden with swing, fireplace and teepee (in summer) is available. The house is 30 m away and there is a shower room that can be used from 7:30 am to 10 pm and where the dirty dishes can be handed in.

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.
