We had such a wonderful stay here. The house is stunning, had everything we could need and the hosts were lovely. They helped with local recommendations as well as making sure we had all the information we needed for the house. Not to mention the gift of some mixture for us to make traditional waffles! The train station is just a few minutes' walk. The kids particularly loved the pool and table tennis table, and I really enjoyed the beautiful walks that are possible from the property. All in all a five star stay.

The communication with the host is very smooth and prompt. The scenery around the accommodation is good, and the amenities are very well equipped. It's near the end of the bus, so transportation is good, and the grocery store is close, so I highly recommend it.

Beautiful place with amazing view of Oslo fjord. I decided to choose this place to enjoy the view and Scandinavian atmosphere of the property with friends. And was quite satisfied. The place is very interesting and cozy, and you can look out the window for hours. The owner of Gard is responsive, with a good sense of humor and went to meet us when we needed it. Our family had a great stay at Shezana’s. The trampoline and yard was a highlight for the kids enjoying the longer Norwegian summer nights. The main level was the perfect hub for us all to gather and relax; plenty of seating, large dining table, and plenty of space for the 6 of us. The beds were comfy and everything was clean. The location was also perfect for us, a quick drive to the train into Oslo, Joker grocery store walking distance away, and just a great home base for our adventures.

Would highly recommend! Incredibly friendly host, available for questions and tidy home. Also, the view from the second floor was fairytale. Happy to visit again in the future 🥰

We loved our stay! It was a great location to experience the tranquil countryside (especially in the snow! 🤩) Our children loved sledging etc and it felt like a home from home as well as being a 45min drive from Oslo. Lots of other places to explore from here too. The house is cosy and had everything we needed. The washing machine was very handy too! Thank you again for being such friendly hosts

Very beautiful apartment, very well located in relation to Oslo, only 20 min by car. Store just at the foot of the apartment. The apartment is very modern, very clean, and very well equipped. The bedding is also very comfortable, we slept very well. Linn is welcoming and available to help when needed. We highly recommend it! Thank you:)

Great garden apartment made by someone with a good eye for fine details. Cozy patio and peaceful garden, where we could relax well. Rural, yet easy to get to Oslo. Friendly hosts who were available when needed. Recommended!

A very convenient place to stay on our journey up to the coast. It has a designated parking space right outside the apartment which was immaculately presented and very clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Stay was very nice. A train stop with direct connection to Oslo was easily accessible on foot. Accommodation was very cozy and the host very friendly.

We loved Camilla’s home with its large sitting area and kitchen. The deck off of the kitchen was lovely and we spent part of our evenings there over drinks. We highly recommend!

We loved our stay at Astrid’s place. It is a really beautiful cabin with a spectacular view and was very private and peaceful. It’s a quick drive to Oslo. We had access to everything we needed for our stay. Definitely recommend!

We rented the hut with 3 friends for hiking to enjoy a quiet week in nature. It was perfect for this. The hut is secluded on a forest lake, is easy to reach on foot (700m from the car) and corresponds exactly to the description. The area is wonderful for hiking on a variety of single trails and there is plenty to see in the area even on rainy days. In the evening, you can enjoy your time at the campfire, grill or relax in the hut in front of the fireplace. Overall, a great experience!

World-class location directly on the very quiet lake in the middle of nature. The accommodation is original, yet very modern. No sewer available ;-). We liked it very much and the communication with Jaokim was flawless. We can recommend this accommodation with a clear conscience and will gladly come back.

We had a wonderful holiday in Jonas and Renate's cabin. Stunning views and an ideal base for visiting Oslo. Tips for future guests: Planning to visit Oslo? Park your (rental) car at Hauketo station. (no parking fees) From there it's a 10 minute train ride to the city center. Download the Ruter app for public transport. Very easy to pay. Kiwi is the nearest supermarket and just as good as Rema 1000, which is a bit further away. In Oslo, it's fun to do a 3 hour bike tour (Baja) to get to know the city. Also book a sauna session in one of the floating saunas in Oslo's harbor and take a refreshing dip in the sea. (Kok or Badstuforening) If you're coming with an electric car, you can download the Charge365 app. It's best to do this in advance, as you'll need to add a payment method. At the charge point, you can't scan a QR code; instead, you have to manually enter an ID. The ID is displayed on the charge point.

The cabin and the place are fantastically nice, it was also quiet and peaceful in the area. There are an incredible number of nice trips and a lot you can experience nearby - we were there for a weekend, but should have had a week to explore more. The water just below the cabin also surprised us with a couple of great trout of around 500 grams.

We were a large family group gathering for our first time in Oslo. The island location is gorgeous and the house is both beautiful and well suited to a family group. Catherine was proactive in getting our groceries delivered so we were comfortable despite no stores on the island. We also had free use of their boat which allowed us to arrange our schedule as we liked. Pacing with our large family group meant accounting for two shuttle trips to get all of us across to the mainland. The 31 bus line was close and frequent for getting us into Oslo. We bought a week pass but no one ever seemed to check the bus ticket. The house itself was well equipped with everything kitchen, fireplace and gorgeous outdoor space. It was a little cool and rainy for the pool but the hanging outdoor bed was a favorite spot to hang out.

Very nice and clean accommodation. I would just better mark the way to the cottage, we were wandering around.
