Gänsetrappe - Vacation in a monument

Immerse yourself in a world of the past. The Gänsetrappe is a 335-year-old individual monument in the old town of Ballenstedt. The house is detached on the approximately 1000 square meter property at the end of a dead end road. The originality has been preserved as much as possible and carefully combined with the contemporary requirements of a cozy vacation home. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway on a south-facing slope in the resort town of Ilfeld in the South Harz. The small vacation home is comfortably furnished with rustic wooden furniture. It has a kitchen, an open living area, a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower. There is also a large terrace, a sunny garden with garden furniture and barbecue facilities. The region offers numerous opportunities for excursions and hikes in the Harz and Kyffhäuser.

Apfelblüte is the name of the small, fine apartment of Anke and Sabine. We are two sisters who grew up in Bad Suderode and have already given vacationers and spa guests of the place information about excursion destinations in the area in our childhood days. For December, we particularly recommend the Quedlinburg Christmas market, Advent in the courtyards and the Bad Suderöde mountain parade. Our cottages The idyllically located comfortable cottages on the meadows and forest edge are built of wood and ideally suited for summer and winter holidays. All bungalows are at ground level and have terrace and garden furniture. We have different holiday home categories, please feel free to ask for our offer. All cottages have 3-fold glazed windows with shutters. A sunbathing area also invites you to relax in the magnificent Harz landscape.

Welcome to the vacation room in the animal house. The cozy room offers you a sleeping niche in the half-timbering & a sofa bed, a private bathroom, a single kitchen for self-catering & a separate entrance. Our animal house is a meeting place for humans & animals, (horses, chickens, mini pigs, raccoons, dog & cats) From our location, you can make many excursions, whether in nature or culture & it is located on many hiking trails.

Our vacation home is centrally located and yet surrounded by greenery. In 10 minutes you can walk through the city forest (enclosure) to the city center and directly behind your home is Hohenrode Park. The immediate proximity to the Harz Mountains offers many opportunities for active vacation planning. We hope you feel comfortable in our lovingly furnished cottage. One free parking space is available right by the house.

Enjoy the sounds of nature as you stay at this special place. In the cozy yurt there is a 1.40 m double bed and a single bed. There is a toilet and shower (of course with warm water!) in the sanitary area on the property. A sauna with wood-burning stove and panoramic views of the river is also at the disposal of all guests. There are many hiking trails and interesting sights to visit nearby.
