Smokey pines is the perfect getaway. It's private, secluded yet close to the towns and people we want to visit. It feels homey and comfortable and has all the amenities required. We'll definitely be back!

This was are 3rd visit and first visit with our 5 + 7 year old. We loved hiking down to the pond and spending the day there on the cute sandy beach. Cool evenings around the fire pit making s’mores was the perfect ending to the day. The cabin was SO clean and a great fit for our family of 4. Thank you!!!

This is a wonderful place to stay. It’s very clean and the hosts have prepared for everything. It feels like your own cabin in the woods. Plus there are so many activities in a short distance of the place.

This was just the perfect getaway with my boyfriend, lovely animals, friendly people and a beautiful space! We just falled in love with the place in its entirety 😍😍 and love the eggs from their own chickens! 🤤🤤

I’ve returned to the Vermont Botanical studio on an annual basis for several years, since I always find it peaceful and comfortable—off the beaten path, but not lonely. It has everything I need, including a dirt road through the fields for a daily walk, tall windows looking out on lovely trees, a very healthy songbird population, and a nearby farm store where I always go to buy cheese as soon as I arrive. I especially appreciate the comfortable bed, reading chair and couch, and the perfectly serviceable kitchen. The induction range makes for very quick cooking, and it’s nice to have the use of a full-sized fridge, too. For my writing retreats, the studio feels like a home away from home.

I stay at Walden Farms whenever I visit Greenville, so I'm running out of superlatives to use in reviews. Suffice it to say that this is a special place. Be sure to check out some of the history of the farm and have a look at the water colors of the view painted by guests with the materials provided.

Thank you so much for a lovely stay! My partner, daughter, and I attended a wedding nearby and Jenny's place was the perfect place to settle in before and after festivities. The space is beautifully decorated in that amazing Vermont-modern style. The kitchen and restroom were well-stocked - we needed for nothing. The bed was incredibly comfortable as well. The gardens were so lovely and we enjoyed the chorus of frogs who were clearly enjoying the surrounds as well. A bonus was indoor bike storage. We took our bikes and trekked through the fabulous Vermont countryside, all a stone's throw from Jenny's place. Finally, Jenny was so kind, flexible, and communicative. We strongly recommend this fabulous place!

Can't recommend this place highly enough! We came for a weekend nature getaway from Boston. The cabin is so cute and cozy, clean, peaceful, private. Had everything we needed for cooking as well. The walking trails around the cabin are gorgeous. Sally was responsive and friendly with communication, and left a thoughtful welcome basket for us. Would definitely stay here again!

Mark’s & Lori’s tiny house was perfect base to show my parents around the Catskills. I was very impressed by the attention to detail in the house - I noticed great little touches like a torch, headlamps, and insect repellant. They even had a little stationary draw in the kitchen. I personally loved the fresh coffee beans available for use by guests. The house is located a short 10 min drive from Woodstock village if you want to grab groceries or eat out. It’s worth nothing that while the bedrooms aren’t full height, my 70 and 75 year old parents were able to navigate the stairs and low ceiling just fine. I can’t wait to go back to Mark & Lori’s tiny but perfect house! ❤️

Beautiful and peaceful place in the Catskills. Located on a private road that is easy to find, and easy to walk around with your pups. LeAnna is a great host. She is easy to communicate with, and provided great local recommendations. I recommend bringing some snacks and fruit as the closest grocery store is a little sparse.

This was my fourth time in this lovely Highland cattle farm. Manon is warm and gracious and the house a jewel. We used it as a base twice in the last three weeks, travelling pretty country roads to attend international horse shows at the Bromont Olympic Equestrian Park. We will be back in autumn for its colours and in winter for snowy hikes and evenings by the fireplace.

Alex’s cabin was charming and comfortable. I appreciate that there was no TV- instead, a large picture window over-looking the pond valley (which we appeared to have exclusive access to.) Everything listed in the property description and amenities was there when we arrived. Also, it was a woodland birder’s paradise! We can’t wait to come back!

Stayed here with my wife for the weekend. It was absolutely beautiful. The hosts was super nice and responsive, the surrounding area had lots of trails and nature. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a getaway from busy life to reset! Five stars all around

We had a wonderful stay. We weren't at the cabin much during the day as we were out and about, but when we were there it was peaceful and great. We loved visits from the very friendly dogs. We also had some fun walking around the ponds and kayaking in them. The instructions to arrive at the cabin we very clearance easy to find. I would recommend this cabin!

We really enjoyed Kim’s clean, quiet and peaceful space. The attention to detail was evident and appreciated. Comfy beds were appreciated as well! Thank you! We would definitely return!

The barnbrook house was lovely, private and rustic. It had everything our family needed as a base to explore VT/NH. The mountain views are sublime and the house is tucked away offering a lot of privacy. As far as amenities, we loved the toy chest, darts board, and den. There’s plenty of space for a family and Dana stocked up the kitchen with coffee and tea. If you need to be in Hanover for events, this location is a 45 minute drive so keep that in mind when planning.

We had a nice, albeit quick, stay at Jane and Fred's place. Easy access, check-in, and living! Clean, quiet, and lovely location. The bonus for us was having morning coffee on the deck, watching the morning antics of birds, and having horses come graze right in front of us. Will visit again in the future!

this was the most beautiful property I have ever seen. the cabin was awesome. you sit out on the porch and can hear the babbling brook, and hear the bird. Jamie is very kind

E.V.'s place was a little slice of VT heaven! Just as pictured! Our toddler had so much fun running in the grass, swinging on the hammock, having nightly fires while watching the sunset over the mountains, visiting the garden, sheep & chickens! We even explored the barn (which was stunning)! The whole property was peaceful & we felt rejuvenated from our stay at this sweet little farm house! We look forward to visiting again! We loved spending our time in Vermont at Bonnie’s place! The house had everything we needed and Bonnie was a great and responsive host. The horses next door were such a treat for our kids to see and the views were beautiful.

This was my second visit and I'm already dreaming of the next one! Heidi is amazing, and her place is, simply said, heaven. It's quiet and relaxing, perfectly clean, beautifully decorated, great options for restaurants walking distance, and near trails and distilleries and lakes. I can't recommend it enough! Our third time staying at the farm and it truly only gets better and better every time. This place is absolutely gorgeous, pictures really don’t do it justice. The house is so adorable and clean not to mention Frankie and Vin pay insane attention to detail and have thought of literally every single thing you might need during your stay and are just some of the all around best people. There’s so much to do weather you go out and explore the property stopping to say hello to the animals and give them treats, hike the near by trails, or simply just staying in playing games and listening to music on the record player you can’t go wrong staying at Frankie and Vins!
