Holiday rentals with a kayak in New England

Incredible property with jaw-dropping views. I loved watching the tides come in everyday and there's a lot of cool birds and wildlife. The area for feedback I have is that the mattresses are all really firm which made sleeping a little rough. I still rate the property 5 stars and think it's the perfect getaway accommodation for visitors of Acadia. Also the hot tub is nice after sore hiking muscles!

Very nice airbnb! We enjoyed our time here for my bachelorette trip. The beds are absolutely amazing- the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. The place is so clean and has so many things to keep you entertained. The back yard is so cute! Would loveeee if there was a hot tub! Only thing to be mindful of is the neighbors- even though hours say quiet hours are 11 PM- 7 AM, definitely plan to be quiet earlier. The neighbors were peaking through the fence and messaged the host wayyyy later on the next day that we were being “too loud” when we were being mindful of our noise level. The host is super responsive and friendly. I definitely recommend staying here!

Immaculate space. Location and views are incredible. Check in was easy, hosts were very communicative and you can tell they put a great deal of energy into their home. They also included fresh eggs from their farm. We were obsessed with it and will definitely rebook.

Me and my family had a great time at Steve’s place. The weather was a little windy so it did interfere with our plans at the lake but Steves place made up for it with the great pool which was not that cold and lets not even say the hot tub was amazing! Steve was attentive and letting me know how to check in, how to check out and what needed to be done. Thanks!

Perfect place for a girl's weekend, or for anyone wanting a relaxing getaway! Absolutely loved sitting on the porch in the morning and evening overlooking the water views. During the day we could sit out or play yard games in the backyard or go for a dip in the pool, and in the evening we enjoyed the hot tub and playing games. The house itself is updated with so many great amenities we enjoyed, including a sauna, fancy shower, techy bathroom mirrors, comfy beds, coffee/espresso machine, Blackstone grill, and more. From when I first booked through checkout Gary was proactive in communicating and provided super clear instructions for everything in the house, so we never needed to reach out about any issues but it was good to know he was available if needed! We were also pleased to find some beautiful handmade local necklaces waiting for us when we arrived, which was a unique personal touch. Overall we all LOVED staying here and would highly recommend, and hope to stay again!!

This place has the best of what Maine offers. A ocean view with a pebbled beach on the front side with plenty of rocks and sea glass hunting and a quiet cove on the back that you can explore with the two supplied kayaks. The location is very inviting and the neighbors were friendly and gave us some great insight into the local area. There is plenty to do within an hour of the house from shopping, exploring other beaches or getting a taste of the local cuisine. If you like oysters we would recommend OystHERS in Bath. Our favorite beach was Popham where you can watch the harbor seals play at the mouth of the river. Overall this was a great family getaway and one that made lasting memories.

The location was perfect for our trip. The house it self was extremely clean and lots of space for us to hang out and also have our space. Close to Acadia which we visited Saturday and the house was a great distance to enjoy the day without staying in town! The amenities were in great condition and everything in the listing was there. I would definitely stay again.

Smokey pines is the perfect getaway. It's private, secluded yet close to the towns and people we want to visit. It feels homey and comfortable and has all the amenities required. We'll definitely be back!

We had the most amazing stay at this charming lakefront cottage in Vermont! From the moment we arrived, we were amazed by the peaceful setting, stunning lake views, and the cozy, well-appointed interior. The cottage was sparkling clean and beautifully decorated with rustic touches that made it feel both homey and special. We spent our days kayaking, fishing, and relaxing by the shore, and our evenings watching breathtaking sunsets and stargazing by the firepit. It truly felt like a little slice of heaven. The hosts were incredibly kind and responsive, offering great local tips and making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests’ experience. This was one of the most peaceful and memorable trips we’ve had in a long time, and we’re already dreaming about coming back. Highly, highly recommend this special place to anyone looking to unwind and soak in the beauty of Vermont’s lakeside charm!

Really enjoyed our stay. The house was spotless, great restaurant suggestions, great space for a small family or group of friends. Our 1 wish was that there wasn't as much highway noise - very close to the highway.

Excellent and beautiful location. Very scenic and tranquil. The location allows you to relax while still being in reach of everything. The unit was very well maintained and clean. All the Amenities of home without the chaos.

I cannot say enough good things about Felicia‘s little Boho Retreat by the Beach. The place was immaculate, and her attention to detail and decor was spot on. Lovely, soft on your skin linens, beautiful view of the beach side park on the river, a well supplied kitchen for all your cooking needs including tools, extra spices, coffee, tea, etc. a welcome card with snacks and a flower to greet you on the center island. It made you feel like a good friend was welcoming you into their home. The surroundings are lovely. We enjoyed sitting on the patio for a good read or a nap and there are kayaks at the side of the house that we used for a lovely paddle one morning. If you are looking for a great getaway with a spouse, friend or sibling, this is the place to go.

Perfect for our weekend getaway to relax and visit family! Terrill provides lots of local recommendations and describes her place in detail so you know what to expect. She wants you to be happy and not surprised. I had a wonderful nap in the hammock and the queen bed was very comfortable. My husband loved hearing the frogs at night. Their dog Pippa is a sweetheart. Appreciated access to the shower in the hosts lovely studio space. Terrill’s communication was great. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Always such a joy to stay at Lake Wapanacki! Peaceful and beautiful surroundings with trails, lake views and lots of nature! And really close to local town Hardwick (with just right amount of restaurants and an awesome co-op) and other favorites like Hill Farmstead Brewery. I think we’re into our 5th year and love it!

Does the cabin look perfect in the photo? It's better. Does the yard look like the perfect place to forget the rest of the world exists? It is. Are the White Mountains a place that make you feel like the psychological mountains in your life are just a little smaller? They are. We don't have enough good things to say about the Cabin or communicating with Cassouki. It's rare to step into a space that feels like it was designed with intention on every level - from the scents in the air to the textures of the cabin to the quiet confidence in every object's placement. The Conscious Cabin doesn't just reflect a designers eye, it reflects a storyteller's heart. I've stayed in more than a few retreats, but this is the first one that felt like it had something to say--and somehow said it quietly enough to let us hear ourselves again. Stay here.

Stayed here for the second time with our family of five, including two toddlers and a baby. The house/property is the perfect setup for us! Everything is safe for kids and on one floor. There are things like pack-and-plays, kid dinnerware, kid toys/books, and sand toys provided. The sandy beach is close enough that our monitor reached from the baby’s room during nap time. Our oldest calls it “the little house” and has been talking about it since the last time we stayed here a year ago. It is the perfect little getaway! 🙂

This home was SO cool and unique. So many special little parts of this space. It's pretty magical, secluded and we kept looking around thinking how awesome it was. It was a simple check in, nice and clean, and a short little walk to the beach. Babcock Lake is no doubt a special place. Igor is an excellent host! Thanks for everything. The place is a beautiful A-frame cabin away from the crowds, very enjoyable, and a comfortable place to be, any time of the year. I would recommend this Airbnb to anyone interested in enjoying and exploring the north country of New Hampshire! Super hosts!

Tim’s place is beautiful. Immediately upon arrival we felt right at home- and reading through the guest book it looks like everyone else has as well!! With an incredibly welcoming host, a wonderful array of snacks set out for us, and the most stunning waterfront location, we could not have been happier on our couples getaway. The cabin felt so loved and cozy that we could’ve stayed another week, easily! Highly, highly recommend.
