Monthly Rentals in Newby Hall

We had a lovely stay. The place had everything we could need, it was private and peaceful, the hosts were friendly.

Excellent stay with a very responsive and proactive host. In easy walking distance of the village in peaceful surroundings. The welcome pack was excellent and much appreciated. No hesitation in recommending.

Moat Cottage was absolutely beautiful and exactly what we needed after being super busy at work. The hosts were wonderful - kind, responsive and incredibly nice. The cottage contains a highly secure garden that our four pooches loved. Within the garden was an outdoor dining area that overlooks the medieval fort area (beautiful green fields and hills). The house itself was lovely and had all the amenities you could hope for including plenty of seating in the lounge, an inside dining space and a fridge-freezer. There is a stair gate to prevent the pooches from going upstairs. Ours stayed in the lounge/kitchen area and there was plenty of room for all of our dog beds. The stairs are a bit steep! But there are handrails both sides. Upstairs there were two bedrooms that had two beds in each which the hosts helpfully turned into two super king beds. The inclusion of toiletries, dishwasher tablets, sundries and other bits and pieces was a nice touch! It was a beautiful home from home.

Linda was an exceptional host. I don’t want to get guests’ hopes up but the cake she left for my husband’s birthday was such a lovely surprise. So very friendly and helpful - thank you.
