What a phenomenal listing, this is an amazing find and we will absolutely be back. Check in was very easy, clear directions, email received the night before on check in information. The host (Jessie) came out and introduced herself and showed my husband the dome features and information. Her father in law also drove by and checked to make sure everything was good. Jessie went above and beyond as a host. Every detail was thought of, board games, camping chairs, drinkable water provided, hammock, bbq, fire area and much more. We will be back again and will be telling our friends of this amazing find!

If you have an opportunity to stay at Barrisway Retreat, do not hesitate to book it. It is a true gem. We stayed here for two nights at the end of a two-week vacation in Newfoundland. It was the most perfect way to end a busy travel itinerary. (I wish we'd booked three nights!) The house is the perfect size for two people. The bed is very comfortable. The decor is modern but inviting. The place is impeccably clean. Kim left so many little thoughtful treats and surprises, from chocolates to word search books, which really made our stay extra special. However, the outdoor spaces at this place are what truly MADE the visit for us. The sauna, the hot tub, the outdoor sitting area, the hammock, the seats down by the brook, the outdoor games, the fire pit... Wow! (By the way, I cannot imagine staying here and not paying the extra for the sauna. If you are on the fence, do it. It's stunning.) What a wonderful place! We'll be back for sure! Zula and Elizabeth were wonderful hosts; we only wish we had more time to visit with them! We love to explore everything, everywhere we go, so we leave early and don't get back till late. This was a perfect getaway! Being on the water is so peaceful and the few sunsets we were privileged to see during our week there were amazing. (Having a washer/dryer and dishwasher made it that much nicer!) The Loft is very spacious and bathed in glorious light. The amenities were Numerous and Much appreciated! 👍🏻 Thank you for a great place to rest our weary bodies after racing around all day! This little suite was very clean and well-equipped—perfect for our needs. Only 10 minutes from the airport and super convenient for visiting the National Park. Though it’s a one-bedroom, the comfortable sleep sofa in the living room made it easy for our group of three. Highly recommend!
