Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Newquay

Had a lovely and peaceful stay. Cheryl was lovely, very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was exactly as described and what we had hoped for. Will defo go back when we can.

Just returned from a lovely weeks stay at the Gem and everything about it was perfect - fully equipped, spotless + great location. In walking distance to some lovely restaurants in town or Fistral beach and Crantock beach. It is also a great location to explore other costal towns in Cornwall. If you have a paddleboard or Kayak I would recommend taking it as you can walk straight down to the waters edge from the property. Overall this was a 10/10 stay.

Could not recommend Beth’s place any more highly! The place was spotless, well equipped and in the perfect location. Will definitely be booking next time we’re in Fistral.

We loved are stay, it was beautiful, peaceful, felt like you were miles from anywhere. Great hosts, very quick response to messages. It was a little hot the first night so we ask if they had a fan and they supplied one strait away. Could not ask for a better place to stay. Highly recommend

Anthea was a great host. Responded quickly and was very friendly. The house was great and the location was ideal. I’m local to Newquay and my friends loved how close the shops and beaches were yet the house was peaceful. My friends flew from Dublin and Gatwick arriving earlier than check in but Anthea was very accommodating and allowed them to check in earlier due to no previous quests that morning. Would highly recommend.

Had a lovely stay at Paul’s place together with our two children. The house is great - well decorated, modern and clean and a short walk away from central Newquay. Would definitely recommend to others.

Sarah and Ian met us at check in. They showed us through the accommodation and had a load of recommendations for the local area.

The accommodation was comfy, clean and nicely decorated. It had everything we needed and our host was friendly and helpful in her communications. It was an easy stroll to town and we’d happily stay again if we visit Newquay.

This was a lovely place to stay. Fabulous location with an amazing view, parking right outside and easy to walk to the beach, harbour and shops. Everything we needed for a wonderful holiday.

Beautifully presented studio unit. Top location. Great instructions for checking in. Friendly coffee shop down stairs. The only thing to be careful of are the stairs up to the unit as they are steep with deep risers and may be difficult for the elderly or mobility impaired.

Julie is a wonderful host and a very kind human being. Her apartment shows how considerate she is. We found everything needed in the flat. Flat is very clean, tidy, good linens, balcony view with sound of the waves is outstanding. Bed is good for sleeping. Comfy sofa and other electric machines are fine. We cooked meals happily. Bathroom is nice and clean. Close to town centre and other beaches. Rooftop is nice. We stayed here for seven days. She even arranged for late check-in to help us to relax before catching our flight home. This holiday experience is so great!! We hope to visit again In sha Allah. Thank you Julie. We had a fantastic stay at Gary’s place! From the moment we arrived, everything was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully prepared. The space was not only comfortable but also had all the little touches that made it feel like home. One of the highlights was the lovely surprise waiting in the fridge—it was such a thoughtful gesture for a warm and welcoming stay. Gary is a fantastic host—welcoming, responsive, and respectful of privacy. He made sure we had everything we needed and even offered great local tips that made our visit extra special. The location was perfect—quiet and peaceful, yet close to shops, restaurants, and public transport. We’d definitely stay here again!

As soon as we walked through that door we could see the beautiful sea and we were just in awe of the place. The location is 10/10, the apartment is stunning and so quiet and we didn’t really notice that we had neighbours which was lovely and made it feel private which is what we look for in a place. Cornwall as whole as well is just stunning and we HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking at it. We have found a special place and we will hopefully come back again and again. This is our happy place. We were so sad to leave as we had such a beautiful holiday. A lot of special memories made. The parking was very good, covered and easy to use, self check in is favourable, the checking in and out time is reasonable and the communication was very good. The train is so useful and we actually enjoyed watching that go by, the walking is amazing, the beach is beautiful, the views from the window and patio are amazing. The sofas and bed are very comfortable which is rare. Thank you so much.

Just had a wonderful stay here. The apartment is spacious and very comfortable with everything you need. It is situated right on the river in a lovely peaceful setting, with Fistral and Crantock beach within walking distance. Trenance gardens and the zoo are also close by. If you are looking for some peace and quiet and time to reflect this tranquil setting will not disappoint. There are steps to the property so may not be ideal for those with mobility issues. Nigel and Joy were excellent and responsive hosts and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Stayed here for 4 nights, it was a shame it was work related as the place is lovely and would of liked to of spent more time here. Lovely spot, great location and would definitely stay here again :)

Great place to stay, very accessible to pretty much every beach in newquay. Very close to grocery stores and restaurants. But most importantly great host, very helpful and responsive. Definitely recommend when visiting Newquay

Flat was nice and cosy, very clean and comfortable. Host was very responsive and gave clear instructions. Flat was close to the beach and in an ideal location, however the neighbours were rather noisy. Apart from that, a great stay! Thank you Lucy!

Unbelievable view and a very modern apartment to match. 2 parking spaces made life easy for 2 couple to stay here, and the apartment itself had a great amount of space. Walkable into the centre of Newquay (about 5 mins) and has lots of great beach / bays on your doorstep. Loved our stay and would highly recommend. Thanks

Just want to say a massive thankyou again! We had a lovely time staying at Blue View and the flat had everything we needed. It was very clean, well equipped & the views are to die for!! The pool was heated so I was able to take my 4 month old son in there who loved it! Kirsten & Ben are very friendly and even had the flat ready for us a couple of hours before the usual check in time :D we will definitely be back next year! X

My Husband and myself had a lovely stay at Jam First. The property was perfect and very spacious with a beautiful patio area. Lynne was a friendly host with delicious scones waiting our arrival. They have thought of everything. We would definitely stay again.

Stayed for a month whilst working remotely and loved it! The apartment was clean and had everything I needed for my stay - clear communication and check in. The wifi was strong - enough to be able to take video calls which was great. Place was super spacious and clean. Location wise, it was perfect, 10 mins walk to Fistral and only a couple of mins to main high street. Parking spot was a great plus. Absolutely loved staying here and highly recommend!

Absolutely fantastic place to stay - primarily because of the location, but also because of quick & clear communication, value for money, and a homely feel. Very pleased.

As a family of three the apartment was ideal for us. The apartment was spacious, included the essentials, plus the view overlooking Newquay and the surrounding area was stunning! Added bonus to have parking included as we rarely used the car due to the location of the apartment making it easier for us to walk more. The gym and pool looked fantastic but on this occasion we didn’t have the time to use them. I’d highly recommend the apartment ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
