Beachfront holiday rentals in North Devon District

This was my third stay at Amy’s and won’t be the last. The home is outstanding and the back beach on your doorstep, the town is less than a few minutes away and all you need there. Lots of pubs and tea shops and I highly recommend a visit to Laura Wall Art for lovely gifts. Be back soon thank you Amy

We had a lovely week in Emily & Matt's flat. We liked that you can walk into town but also to Fistral beach & quieter areas. Great views - I enjoyed relaxing, reading in the bay window. I treated myself to swim & breakfast at Headland hotel (special offer).

Very neat flat in the middle of Woolacombe. Pubs, restaurants, coffee houses and shops all within short walking distance. The are has so many walks and running routes as well as great swimming and surfing so great for active folk. Will definitely look to see if available again as this place is perfect for the area

Great location right by the harbour, clear instructions from host to find property and parking area, clean home with everything we needed for a lovely stay

We got to the Wales Retreat and from the moment we walked in we flet so at home with the cosy features. The property smelt beautiful all throughout. Everything was spotless and even the fridge was equipped with essentials which was greatly recieved. The loaction is absolutely beautiful and I was in love with our own secluded private decking area with the most comfiest beanbag seats! Pet friendly which was a bonus for our GSP - she loved having a little area outside of her own and tje site was very welcoming to dogs. We will really be booking in again although we sre struggling to find your availability! 🙂

We loved our stay and will definitely be back! The house is very well equipped with everything you can need a just a few mins walk from the beach.

We had a great time at Dummett cottage. All instructions were really clear. Even the warnings about the low beams/door frames.... can't say I didn't try them out though!! Great views from the back garden and study. We had a front view seat with all of the military goings on from the British and french marines who were practicing across the bay on the dunes. Great food at flame factory and great music entertainment at the beaver inn. Lovely walks around the coast at Brownsham and across the water at Braunton. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. I booked this as a surprise birthday get away for my wife and our two young children and it was the most perfect place I could have ever imagined. The view from the balcony is incredible, especially the sun rise (thanks to my youngest we never missed) is something worth waking up for. The entire house was spotless and the bed was so comfortable! Mel gave very detailed instructions on how to find the home, as well as some fantastic local recommendations. Excellent communication right up to the booking and was very helpful with extras for the kids! The beach is only a short downhill walk away, even quicker if you jump in the pushchair with the kids. The beach is quite small but was perfect for us. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a Cornish getaway and would definitely book again!

The host, Julie, was really helpful and responsive to our messages. Beautiful surroundings and the views from the chalet were incredible. We were visiting old friends and neighbours and it was an excellent base. The walk down into Shaldon along the golf course was convenient and stunning but be prepared for the walk back up!! The chalet had everything we needed and was really nicely decorated with comfy sofas and beds. Wish we were there longer and would love to go back.

This is our second stay at Atlantic View - and just as wonderful. Beautifully situated, with stunning views. A home from home - the space is very clean and well equipped. The holiday village is quiet, but with new facilities open which are lovely. Heated pool, bar and restuarant within walking distance.

Marcus's place was great for our visit to Cornwall. The apartment was very clean and in a nice building. Within walking distance to lots of restaurants and two beaches. When we got lost during check in Marcus was available over phone and he called us again later to make sure we got in okay. Very friendly!

Emily has a lovely caravan in a quiet spot on an otherwise busy site. The caravan felt surprisingly spacious and it was great to have that second toilet available. It was also lovely and very convenient to have the shower. The site offers a lot for families with several play areas, crazy golf and swimming pools.

Perfect location, accommodation was new and well maintained. Great having the onsite pool for rainy days.

Had a lovely weekend stay in the caravan, just as described and in a beautiful location. Host was excellent in communicating instructions for check in. will be rebooking in the future!

An amazing place to stay in a perfect location. The flat was in immaculate condition and the parking space is worth its weight in gold. If you don’t fancy cooking you are next to two good hotel restaurants. Salcombe town is only a thirty minute walk or take it easy on the ferry straight into town. I highly recommend staying here.

WOW, WOW, WOW, and that’s just for the views, looking down Woolacombe beach from the balcony, over the sea to the isle of Lundy from the two large Velux windows in the kitchen/dining area, and gazing down the ruggedness of North Devon’s coastline from the 2nd/ TV, lounge. Also loved waking up to the dancing greenery, covering the rock face behind the two bedrooms. Didn’t really need the smart tv , only watched an hour or two, our whole week ( who needs to, when you have those views at the turn of your head ), we were also lucky enough to see three porpoises swimming across the bay ( take your binoculars, or the modern day equivalent, you don’t know what you may see ). Plenty of local restaurants to try out, if that’s your thing. Love cooking for friends when away, ( takes all-sort’s ). Kitchen at Puffin Cove, amazing, every size of pot and pan you could wish for and sharp knives. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Number Eight in Bideford, bit of a trek, but we’ll worth the drive out).

We had a lovely stay at Breakers. The views are incredible! The house is spacious, clean and well appointed. We would definitely return and would recommend to others.

Steve's flat ticked all the boxes- and then some more! Communication was fast and friendly right from the start. Diirections were clear and very detailed making it easy to check in. The property was clean and fresh (it smelt lovely) and it was tastefully decorated with some great artwork. absolutely everything you need is in the flat, along with some nice treats. The view is stunning and we enjoyed watching the routine of setting up the beach for the day from the lounge. Woolacombe has lots of nice places to eat, curry on the beach in the evening sun was a highlight. Thank you Steve, we hope we can come and stay again.

We spent a week in this very pleasant and comfortable apartment. It is well equipped with everything needed to make our stay enjoyable. It has a superb view of the bay and is a short walk to the shops and restaurants.

We had a lovely couple of days in the bungalow. We booked it mainly for the views, and it did not disappoint - such a treat to be able to look out to sea all day! The bungalow was clean, comfortable and well-equipped, and communication from the hosts was excellent. Thank you!

Lovely home, well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. Great for 4 legged friends with a secure garden and suitable furnishings etc. The home is in a lovely area , with great views over the estuary from the rear of the house, particularly the main bedroom. Bideford itself is very pretty and a good base for exploring North Devon as it is close to the A39 / Atlantic Highway.

Georgina Place is really worth it me and my family really enjoyed our stay and the view is really good and flat is clean and everything is new The only issue we had is the heater it was cold inside Secondly the WiFi not working in the room Only in living room but in general I will be back again it was really good and I recommend it for others

We had a great holiday staying at 'SeaCrest' in Combe Martin. Both Paul and Becki our hosts were very helpful. The cottage is beautifully furnished with a modern interior. The cottage is right on the beach almost, a perfect location for eateries as well. Although the cottage is next to the pub, this was never an issue, no noise problems and we found the parking simple and always found a space, although we were there in term time. We found plenty to do in the area and loved the countryside and walking the coastal path. We drove to some places but also used the hourly bus service. everywhere was family friendly. We will be back!
