The shepherds hut was a lovely peaceful place to stay, it came equipped with everything we needed & was the Perfect break needed. Hot tub was lovely and bonus for the hut having its own bathroom. Decorated lovely nice & clean & overall great place to stay. Many thanks!

Spa Lodge was a welcome retreat from city life. set in a verdant garden only a short walk from fantastic beaches. we loved every minute of our stay.

A LOVELY place to stay, especially if you're looking for peace and relaxation. It was extremely private - some reviews said it wasn't as private as advertised, but this is absolutely not the case. There is another building on the property, but it isn't in use when the Airbnb is being rented. The entire outdoor space (including bar and hot tub) are solely yours to use. It was amazing. Also fantastic for our dogs. While it rained a lot, we still used the hot tub and let the dogs roam whenever possible. The space is also really nice. It's small, but we had no trouble making it work for two adults and two dogs. It really had everything we needed for our four days. The host is also fantastic. Samantha provided all the information we needed beforehand, but was also responsive when we had questions about the location (despite it being quite late when we arrived). As other reviews said, there is a farm nearby and the roosters do what they do...but I found the sounds comforting. We recommend!

Beautiful place to unwind! Sadly wasn’t as sunny as we hoped, but the lodge was perfectly cozy. Stunning views and the lodge has everything you could need.

Wow what an amazing find! This place is fabulous. Very clean, absolutely loads of essentials. They have thought of everything. Would highly recommend this place to stay. The outside space is perfect, hot tub was great and the other side of the cabin has a beautiful bbq area. The Sauna was great and nice addition. We loved the golf. Can’t wait to return!

We had a lovely time. Lovely view from the hot tub in the evening and so nice to wake up to deer in the field in the morning.

Second time staying here, this time we bought the children! They absolutely loved it; especially the hot tub and the animals. Very peaceful and we was lucky to enjoy the garden in the sunshine!! We did have an unexpected visit from some dogs which startled the children as they’re scared of dogs but they swiftly moved on. Pam’s husband came to check everything was okay and couple of times which was nice apart from that was very private😊. Besides the animals we also found a lovely local park for the kids and purchased some homemade jam from a neighbour. Will most definitely look to book again in the future. X

We had a really relaxing stay at the cabin, it was just so peaceful, set just outside the village with some good walks. The cabin had everything we needed and more, and although the weather wasn't great for us, it was still relaxing to sit out on the porch. The Garden was totally secure for our dog, who had a great time exploring...it was also good to arrive somewhere with a dog and not have a list of dog behaviour rules!! We had a wonderful stay at Talland Cliff side beach house, we stayed for two nights with our two children and Labrador, the property was clean and comfortable and had all the amenities we needed plus a few extra touches that added to our enjoyment, the family games and the hammock were a favourite for the children and sauna was an added luxury for us :) but without a doubt sitting on the decking and watching the sea was the most relaxing and wonderful thing for us to do! The beach is 5 minutes walk down the cliff side not too difficult but the climb back up may take a little longer but absolutely worth it for the trip down to the beach, there are a couple of coastal paths within a couple of miles of the property and a couple of small eateries close by for lunch with a view. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

A lovely stay in gorgeous surrounds! The scenery is beautiful, and the silence at night makes for a truly restorative experience. For future visitors, it’s helpful to keep in mind that "off-grid" means limited refrigeration space—we initially brought more food than the mini fridge could accommodate. Since this is a working farm, there may be interactions with livestock, as we experienced when the neighboring sheep wandered into the meadow. For those with dogs unfamiliar with farm life, this might require some flexibility. However, Hadyn and Caroline went above and beyond to ensure our dog could enjoy the space—at one point even rounding up the sheep themselves! Their dedication made all the difference and added to the charm of this truly special retreat.

We had a fantastic stay at the cabin! We have been to a lot of air b&bs and this one is one of our favourites. As we have two Labradors it can be difficult to find somewhere appropriate that allows two bigger dogs. The enclosed garden was more than enough space for the dogs to roam around and as an added bonus the boys could run around in the field the cabin over looked when there were no animals in there. The beds were really comfortable, kitchen was fully equipped and jasmine left us with some milk, eggs and some amazing flapjacks! We visited the pub on Dunster which is dogs friendly and had a beautiful garden with a view of duster castle called the Luttrell arms which has amazing food! Thank you so much we are already planning to come back again!

We had a lovely relaxing stay based at Amy’s cabin. Her cabin was a great base to explore the Jurassic coast and also to enjoy the surrounding countryside. Amy was a great host and made us feel very welcome, my daughter also loved playing with her children when we arrived back to the cabin for the evening. Added bonus points for the very friendly pony and chickens. Would recommend this stay for anyone wanting to explore the area.

Fantastic little spot in a beautiful valley. Very warm greeting from Tim when we arrived giving us some insight about the local access for walking. Great spot to escape - very quiet and calm location with very comfortable accommodation with everything you would need. Definitely be revisiting !

This is a lovely light & spacious cabin with great coastal views in a quiet location. It was a great base to explore this part of the north Devon coast and we'd happily stay here again

Beautiful spot, lots of local recommendations. Handy honesty shop for any bits you forget. Kitchen has most things so no need to bring any utensils. Took my kids and dog who loved the space.

We had a beautiful stay this weekend at Gills lodge, it is in a peaceful location and has lovely attention to detail inside with everything you could need and more! Bude is a short drive away, with lovely bars & restaurants, along with nice coastal walks! Highly recommend <3

What a wonderful find! Beautifully decorated and maintained with a lovely little decking and garden to enjoy. Vicky was so friendly and helpful - leaving a little welcome basket full of goodies for our arrival, which was a lovely surprise. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need, bed is really comfortable and the shower is wonderful. Really useful folder with loads of local information, places to visit, etc. Would highly recommend Vicky’s place and we’ll definitely be back to visit again. Thanks Vicky for a fab stay.

An amazing secluded and quiet getaway, hosts were really amazing even amidst a power outage they communicated well and had the power back on the same day, and came round to check all was okay! Incredible, friendly and responsive hosts! Lovely cabin, great scenery and so peaceful and quiet! An absolute dream getaway! Also the bbq/breakfast bundle was superb! Tastiest meals that we had, well worth the money! Definitely recommend getting that, if you’re looking to stay! We were sad to leave, such a beautiful and magical place!

Well, what can we say about The Den. Completely secluded, from the moment we walked it the decor oozed luxury and the dark moody subtle interior set the tone for a 'shut the world away & stay cozy' from the chaotic'ness of day to day life. There wasn't a single need that wasn't thought about. The sauna and hot tub were lovely additions to the stay. Truly no need to leave just take in the surrounding and snuggle up with a good book. We will most definitely be back for another stay. Well done team Hideaway 👏🏻

Has the best time away here great location and plenty to do. The cabin was amazing with a great view of the sea would definitely stay again! The bath was very warm even with the strong winds. Me and my partner loved it and Simon was a great host and provided us with loads of information of activities within the area.

Amazing resort, especially seeing the time & effort gone into the outdoor/garden areas. really nice. hosts were friendly & the bar area was pretty unique to have a drink at.
