Gourmet Breakfast Included! Casita!

The Hacienda del Sol is a Historic Bed and Breakfast built in 1804. The Hacienda was Mabel Dodge Lujan and Tony Lujan's first home together in Taos. Guests that have stayed at our Inn included Georgia O'Keefe, Ansel Adams, Willa Cather, DH Lawrence, etc. We have two big beautiful lawns in the back of our Inn with clear sunset views of Taos Mountain. We serve a delicious, gourmet free breakfast. The Love Apple, (A+ restaurant), shares our driveway and is walking distance for dinner.

Route 66 - Bobcat Inn

Get your kicks in our Route 66 room! Many people don't realize the road we're on is Old Las Vegas Highway, which is part of the Old Route 66. While the original "Mother Road" no longer exists, you can take a stroll down memory lane in our newly renovated road themed room which has its own parking and is just up the stairway and on the left side of the Bobdog Bungalow, which is a separate 2 room Casita on the Bobcat Inn property. The Route 66 room is dog friendly ($25/dog/night fee applies).

We have remodeled two single-story historic homes into several patio rooms with thick adobe walls. hand-hewn vigas, custom Talavera tiles and saltillo tiled floors. Most of the patio rooms also have enclosed private outdoor patios. All rooms enjoy outdoor entrances, ceiling fans and unshared HVAC systems. Available with King, Queen or 2 Queen-sized beds and microwaves, refrigerators, free coffee, and guest robes. Some of the rooms are “dog friendly” with a $35 per dog per night charge

Front and center in the historic Brown is this cozy room with a view of the mountains and its own sink and vanity. Luxurious king/double twin bed and linens will make for a restful night. The cowboy room is next to the tv/living room with dining table and comfy loveseat. Steps down the hallway is the rose bathroom with walk in shower and quality Turkish towels and high end shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. The sleeping arrangement is a King a- Let us know if you want double twin.

It is also walkable to most of the restaurants in town as well. Our rooms have an old west feel with all of the modern conveniences of the present with high quality furniture, artwork, and linens. The large bathrooms feature detailed tile adding a luxurious touch as well.

Alpine Lodge no longer allows trailers on property, that includes loading and unloading trailers.
