Wow we loved this place so so much! Firstly it was within the most peaceful setting you could imagine. Sitting out in the garden was so serene, and the wood fired hot tub was a fun bonus! Inside was immaculate, so cosy and homely! Absolutely everything you might think you need was supplied! The upstairs bedroom/bathroom was dreamy! Surrounded by lovely walks (the coastal footpath was only 5 minutes walk away) and close by to some gorgeous Devonshire villages/towns, I genuinely couldn’t fault this property! Hopefully we will be back soon! ☺️

This property is absolutely gorgeous and so comfortable! We loved our stay. There was plenty of room and having so many bathrooms was definitely a plus. This was a great home base for our Cornwall adventures!

Lovely little cottage with fantastic hot tub and outdoor space. Walking distance to Polperro village and easy access to the coastal path too.

Very lovely place, me and my girlfriend stayed here for a weekend and had no complaints. The host responded quickly and the property looked exactly like the photos. All the extra little touches like the fire wood, slippers, eggs and etc really made us feel welcome. Overall we really enjoyed our stayed and would happily stay here again.

Had a wonderful stay at Silva Cottage.The cottage was beautiful and had everything a person could need and very clean. The location was amazing set in woods and so so quiet apart from the birds which were a delight to see and hear especially watching the comings and going’s of Woodpeckers on the bird feeder. The hot tub was spectacular.Set in the woods nothing could compare to sitting back and enjoying the tub with a glass of fizz. We had a great recommendation from Lorraine for an Indian Takeaway which delivered to the cottage and ate a great lunch at The Tamar Inn at Calstock. Great location for walkers with Dartmoor on one side and Bodmin Moor on the other plus the coastal path. Would highly recommend this property and would love to return.

We had a beautiful week at The Cart Barn, beautiful location with beautiful views and a private garden which was perfect for our pooch! we spent most of our evenings watching the beautiful cows out the garden! the hot tub was a lovely addition and the barn had everything we needed to make ourselves and our dog feel at home! Some great recommendations in the welcome book and from the owners of local things to do! Will definitely be returning in the future! :)

Lower Marsh Farm is brilliant. Wonderful location, excellent facilities, peaceful and calm. Due to the rural location, you do need a car to get there and navigate the area. Olivia the host is incredibly attentive, the instructions for getting there are clear, the optional services are excellent, and the setting is idyllic. We visited with two young children who were captivated by the wildlife and farm animals. Enjoy!

A fabulous little hideaway perfect for dogs! Couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing break! The secure garden meant the dogs could roam freely and every detail was thought of. The house was immaculate and really comfortable and a great central base for exploring Cornwall. We WILL be back!

Katie and her family were very friendly and welcoming. The Granary was available to us well before the check in time and Katie advised us on best directions to find the farm. The accommodation was very clean, well equipped and felt like home from home. A lovely touch was the fresh Devon time and milk. The shower is very powerful but there is no curtain/screen to enjoy it to the max. Although towels are provided, take a big bath towel if you like to wrap up. The Granary is located on the courtyard of a working farm but is extremely quiet. The patio, down a couple of steep steps, is set in a little garden overlooking the Tamar Valley. It was fabulous to sit in, after a days walking to enjoy the peace and watching the huge variety of birds visiting the bird feeders. A great place to stay for visiting the Tamar valley and surrounding area. We would definitely recommend it to anyone and will return again when we are next down in Devon.

Had a wonderful stay and Deborah was very lovely and helpful. There was everything there we needed plus more with thoughtful touches like eggs from her hens, bacon,bread, fruit, milk. She helped with walks and local tips. A lovely stay and spotlessly clean.

Ben's cottage was stunning — we loved every moment of our stay. If it were possible to give 6 out of 5 stars, I would have. The surrounding area was breathtaking, we enjoyed wandering through the fields and visited the vineyard, where we sampled some fantastic wine. There were also some excellent local pubs close by, all serving delicious food. Everything felt convenient, peaceful, and just perfect — there wasn’t a single thing we could fault. We’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable getaway.

We had a wonderful 3 weeks at the barn and were very sad to leave! As soon as we arrived, I felt myself relax. The gardens and farmland were beautiful and so peaceful, and the barn itself was thoughtfully considered, spotlessly clean, spacious and very well furnished. We had a lot of fun exploring around the farm with our 3 year old - playing down by the river and rowing the boat on one of the small lakes. It was amazing to have this on our doorstep! We visited a lot of places during our stay but my favourite was probably Boscastle - we enjoyed walking through the village through the valley to the cliffs and watching the blowhole in action. We loved the Boscastle Farm Shop & Cafe too - we sat outside enjoying the wonderful views while we ate delicious food and our little one had fun in the play area. Liz and Robert were the best hosts - we really enjoyed chatting with them and they were super responsive when we needed anything. I really hope we can return to stay again one day!

We stayed for a long weekend, and had friends join us for the first night. Bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable. The house is in a lovely spot, and really quiet. Instructions accurate and detailed. The kitchen was well appointed and two fridges a really useful touch. If you plan to use the BBQ you will need to bring charcoal - the local Asda had very limited option, so we recommend planning ahead! We made the most of being on the south west coast path on our second day, walking all the way to Salcombe…. The trek back up the hill was a little more intense than we hoped, but a great location. We would have happily stayed a few more days!

A beautiful spot which was so relaxing. The house was laid out well for 2 couples. We really enjoyed our stay. Disappointed though with the local pub. Wouldn't recommend eating there sadly.

We have just returned from a three-night stay at Stephanie’s lovely Hope Cove property. We visit Hope Cove every year, and know the area well. Stephanie’s place is in a fantastic location; walkable to the beautiful beach and local businesses and restaurants, and easy to pick up the coastal path for great walks and runs! The house had everything we needed, and was very homely. The bedroom with two singles is off the double bedroom upstairs divided by a sliding door, and we used this to store bags and as a great space for getting ready. We had plenty of space as a couple. The Nespresso machine and coffee pods were a lovely touch and gratefully received! We didn’t bring a pet but it was lovely to see dogs are welcome, too. This is a rare find in the area to have such a great location and parking. Thank you, Stephanie, for a lovely stay.

The location is ideal – just a short stroll into the village, meaning we could pop out for morning pastries or evening meals without worrying about parking. The views from the windows are exactly what you dream of for a Cornish getaway. A truly memorable stay in a charming corner of Cornwall!

We had a lovely stay with a warm and friendly welcome from Louise, Oliver and Woody. It was very comfortable and cosy with everything we needed, and a real plus to have such a lovely garden to enjoy too. The welcome treats were very much appreciated thank you, and great information about the area. Highly recommended and we would definitely stay again.

Fab little cottage with all amenities in a great location! Pub opposite which was handy for food and drinks. Coop was also very convenient. We were very comfortable and thrilled with Newton Ferrers 😊😊

we stayed at this beautiful cottage with our 2 year old and absolutely had the best time, the cottage was just as described and more! so spacious, peaceful and well equipped, cosy soft beds, cot and highchair, and loads of hot water for baths. Alison was so helpful as host, she went above and beyond to supply a few extras to us during our stay and was always available if we needed. a really lovely private house thats near to the most beautiful bits of Cornwall for easy day trips. highly recommended and we hope to return. thanks Alison and family!

Lucia’s place is a very stylishly converted barn set in a private garden with beautiful countryside views. It was a real privilege to spend a few nights here. It’s walking distance to scenic trails & the local pub and not far from the beach. There is a fully equipped kitchen and cosy wood burner. The bedrooms are extremely comfortable and perfectly thought out. The property is fantastic and Lucia’s hospitality was flawless.

We had the loveliest couple of days celebrating getting married at 2 pound cottage. You feel right at home as soon as you walk in. The cottage was so clean and tidy, and we loved all the artwork, furniture, lampshades etc. The location is so peaceful and beautiful and there’s a lovely cafe 10 seconds from the front door that does an epic afternoon tea with a great selection of cakes. Emmy was always responsive, helpful and gave lots of recommendations, one of which we went with (Haytor) which was a stunning place to visit Can’t recommend the place highly enough and we’d love to come back someday (maybe an anniversary!)

What a beautiful house—tastefully decorated and set in a wonderfully peaceful countryside location. Harriet is a fantastic host. We've never received such a detailed and helpful guide before our arrival; it made us feel welcome and well-prepared from the start. The home was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, and Harriet was always available if anything came up. A lovely extra touch was the fresh bread, milk, and eggs waiting for us upon arrival—so thoughtful! The garden was another highlight: beautifully maintained and clearly cared for with great attention to detail. It was a perfect place to relax and enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable stay in a stunning rural setting.
