The quiet location on the Gera River on the edge of the Steigerwald in connection with the proximity to the city and the good transport connections offers an ideal starting point for visits to Erfurt and the surrounding area, as well as for hiking and biking excursions. The Gera bike path leads directly along the house. Business travelers will find quiet and relaxing nights as well as free parking.

The holiday home is located on the outskirts of the small village of Werna, population 200, which belongs to the town of Ellrich at the foot of the southern Harz Mountains. An open-plan kitchen/dining/living area with a fireplace invites you to enjoy convivial evenings. To rejuvenate, let yourself be wonderfully warmed in the infrared sauna, and after settling into the cozy Swiss pine bed, nothing stands in the way of a deep and restful sleep.

Luxury apartment with views over Erfurt in the city center

The apartment is located on the first floor in an old storage building of the former horticultural company Benary. The vaulted cellar as the foundation of the house was built at the end of the 16th century. The half-timbered house above it was rebuilt around 1850 and completely renovated in recent years. All interior walls of the outer shell of the house are worked with clay plaster and thus ensure a pleasant indoor climate.

In 10 minutes you can walk through the city forest (enclosure) to the city center and directly behind your home is Hohenrode Park. The immediate proximity to the Harz Mountains offers many opportunities for active vacation planning. We hope you feel comfortable in our lovingly furnished cottage. One free parking space is available right by the house.

In a park-like garden with the sound of the Unstrut. Approximately 10 meters from the yurt is the economic part. Modern bathroom (toilet, shower and sink), modern kitchen with dining table. We and our two children welcome you to our small country house. We often spend our weekends and holidays here in rural surroundings. We occupy ourselves with the small garden and the animals, try our hand at old handicraft techniques, explore the surroundings, go for a walk in the forest and swim in the outdoor pool. This is how we relax here and regain strength for everyday life.
