It is 3-400 meters to another beach with playground equipment, volleyball court etc. There are great hiking opportunities on the island to Skaga lighthouse or to the many beaches on the island. It is 15 min. to drive to Stø with Hvalsafari, 15 min. to Myre where you will find a good selection of shops (sports , clothing stores, liquor store, 4 grocery st.etc.).

Dette huset, som jeg har arvet fra min far, har sjel, historie og sjarm, og vi har med stolthet beholdt navnet "Farmorhuset" som mange av våre gjester kjenner og setter pris på. Huset er bygd i 1954 og kombinerer nostalgisk 50-tallsstil med dagens bekvemmeligheter for et komfortabelt og koselig opphold. Vi har tre soverom med totalt fem senger, noe som gjør huset perfekt for både små familier og vennegjenger.

Recharge in this unique apartment in the Nyksund fishing village. The apartment is one of four apartments in one of the oldest houses in the fishing village Nyksund. The apartment was in the old days an "Ice House", the place you kept ice that you needed to put around the fish before it was loaded on boats and sailed south. This is a very nice and warm apartment with everything you need for a good stay at the end of the sea in Vesterålen.
