Bicycles available! There are also beautiful ATB routes nearby that you can try out. You can do shopping in the village itself. If you are looking for a larger shopping center, Gorredijk (known for Rinsma modeplein) Sportstad/Thialf Heerenveen, Drachten, Leeuwarden, and Sneek are also easy to drive to.

Romantic, heated, spacious shepherd's hut with bathroom, toilet and kitchen. Cosy box-bed, comfortable couch, TV incl. Netflix and Amazon Prime. In Summer the (shared) pool can be used by guests. The jacuzzi can be booked separately for €30 per 2 h. All in the peaceful countryside with a view of storks in the season. All you need for the perfect getaway can be found here or in the area. The nature reserve Weerribben-Wieden is only 3 km away and Giethoorn a 20-min. drive. We have rental bikes.

Binnen 15 minuten fietsen (te huur) sta je aan het Potten-strand of in de reuring van de stad, terwijl je bij terugkomst weer de rust van het Friese platteland ervaart. Rural location on the Elfsteden route, on the edge of the Leeuwarder forest we rent out our "6 person coach house". The former coach house we have converted into a beautiful apartment and is next to our farm with private terrace on the south. Do you want to stay in a quiet environment where nature plays the main role then this apartment is for you. We, Ate and Gerda are owners since 2016 and have made our farm in Jelsum completely sustainable.
