Great place with lots of amenities.

Our home unfortunately flooded and I was completely distraught since my husband was out of town. I reached out to this place on the lake to see if we could stay that same night since our home was being torn apart. Danelle responded right away and we were able to check in within a couple hours of booking. What a relief! We booked 4 nights since that was what was available. Then, when their weekend booking canceled, she reached out to me immediately and offered for us to stay through the weekend. We very much needed that since our home was still being worked on. The home had everything we could possibly need including things we didn’t need but it was nice to have (sonic ice? Heck yes!). The lake was exactly what we needed after all we had been through. The kids loved the kayaks and jumping off the docks! The roof deck was perfect for laying out in the sun. We had all the beach towels we needed and the couch was super comfy. We couldn’t be more grateful for Buffalo Inn. 10/1

My family and I was there for only two days. We spent most of the time between indoor and outdoor activities as a family. It was a great time for us, peaceful and quiet.

As a disclaimer, I was in the area for a funeral after a fairly large rain storm and then it was very warm (hot). I think under cooler conditions, and less rain the night before, this would be a great "couples" getaway. I would have loved to have sat out on that front porch and watched the animals. Instead, I watched them from inside where it was cool and comfortable. There were treats to give to the animals but, again, I did not make it out there. Again, the amenities were great and comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable!! I did not want to get up and leave the next morning. Of course, remember, you are on a secluded ranch so there will be wild life. Birds and I think tree frogs (I never saw them only heard them) were extremely happy and singing away. Lisa was quick to answer any questions I had and I am sure would have responded to any issues. I just did not see any issues that needed to be addressed. Thank you!

10/10 would recommend! When ever we visit Lindale again I plan to return to this house. It was spacious, generously stocked in both the kitchen and bathrooms with lots of extra towels and blankets. Extremely family friendly with games and puzzles! AND you would never know it was a pet friendly house. Not a spec or a smell of animal, I was extremely impressed! Thank you for a wonderful experience.

We’re incredibly grateful to Tiffany and Landon, the owners of this Airbnb, for creating a space that is perfect for millions of people coping with environmental health challenges, as I was. The fragrance-free environment, advanced air purifiers, and three-stage water filtration system made a huge difference compared to hotels or other rentals. For someone with complex chronic illness, a clean, chemical-free environment is crucial—these features are helping to reduce the severity of my overactive limbic system while our own home is being remediated from the most mycotoxic molds. 10/10 for the chemically sensitive people.🫶 The house itself is beautifully remodeled with a loving, homey vibe. They even decorated for Christmas, adding to the cozy, welcoming atmosphere. 🎄 We’re so thankful to have found hosts who truly understand environmental health! Our family felt at home and had a wonderful, healing two month stay. We are incredibly thankful for Tiffany and Landon. Life savers!

Mark was an awesome host. He was super responsive and flexible. The house was easy to access and an unbelievable spot on the lake. We had a great time!

Susie was a fantastic host, very communicative and clear with her instructions, she checked in with us and made sure everything was good for our single night stay. As a full-time host myself it was nice to have a host who does a great job and doesn't just do the bare minimum for the reservation to be completed. Beautiful property with lots of animals surrounded by nature and a very clean little bunkhouse. My wife and I were quite happy with the spot and do recommend staying here, a slice of country instead of just overpaying for some hotel in town.

The home is incredible and the host /Nicole was helpful and quickly responded to all messages before and after trip. There is nothing I can complain about. I wish it was my home!! I would love to go back!

Great tiny home right by the community pool and boat dock. It has a pier for boats. The house was perfect! The screened in porch was a big bonus for being in the sun all day.

This house was perfect for my family reunion. The home accommodated all of us. There was plenty of space and home was well stocked to our needs. We throughly enjoyed the area and the pool!!!

We couldn't have asked for better hosts. Usually I hear negative things about guest houses, but we had plenty of privacy. Our dogs had just as much fun, if not more. They swam and ran to their hearts content. Their dogs were friendly through the fence. Los Hermanos is a delicious Mexican restaurant they recommended. It's not far from the rental. Perfect for a date night without the fur kids. The covered dock (with floats and a swim latter) and the firepit were my highlights. We made burgers and tacos with the smoker. Super easy to use. We had plenty of choices for movie night because they have a wide selection of streaming services. We will definitely be back. It's a GEM!

Lareen's place was perfect for a birthday/father's day weekend with my boys. The kitchen provided plenty of room and cookware to cook full meals. The living area had ample room to spread out and chat or watch a movie together. The sleeping areas were roomy with comfortable beds. The deck and patio areas where set up nicely to sit and relax. I definitely plan to use this place in the winter to use the fire pit and enjoy more of the outdoors, including hanging out by the pond and doing some fishing.

Very well kept home and had everything you would need on your stay. Beau was very responsive and friendly to all our questions. House was right on the water in a very peacefully cove free of all the boat traffic. Kids had a blast on the kayaks and fishing off the dock. We will definitely come back if we get the chance. Highly recommend this place!

Love the home. Its location was quiet and peaceful. It's a nice little getaway home! There was plenty of space too, I thought the home was going to be smaller but it was bigger than I thought!

This stay was such a dream! The property is absolutely beautiful, and the experience felt like having our own private petting zoo. We loved getting to meet and feed the animals in the evening it was such a unique and fun experience, especially for the kids (and honestly, the adults too!). The owners were so kind, welcoming, and clearly love what they do. It made the stay feel extra special. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something peaceful, memorable, and full of charm. We’d come back in a heartbeat!

Out of all the Airbnb’s we’ve stayed in, this was definitely one of the best ones! The house was beautiful, spotless, and we felt right at home. The bunk beds were perfect for our 4 kids. Everything was really clean and well maintained. We loved the privacy, and my kids all enjoyed the putting green and games that were available. Host provided clear check-in instructions, and the house was easy to find. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful surroundings inside the cottage and out allowed for rest and relaxation. The location is perfect to enjoy the state park and train. Also location perfect for roaming around Piney country towns and Rusk. The people in Rusk are friendly and very helpful.

We stayed overnight for a nearby getaway. It’s such a peaceful & relaxing place to unwind with a book and enjoy the company that you’re with. Dinner was amazing. We tried the 3-course meal: eggplant wrapped salmon and my husband had a medium rare filet. The food was perfectly cooked & seasoned. Desserts were delicious. Breakfast was served at 9am the next morning and we enjoyed varied & full plate of homemade food. I’d love to come back for pizza classes or another stay at the B&B. Truly a unique place in East Texas.
