Relax and enjoy sunny Plimmerton, the tranquility of the bush and the comfort of this new eco house. Te Kohanga Eco Lodge was built in 2019 and is only minutes' walk from the beach at Karehana Bay in Plimmerton, a popular beach destination with its own cafe culture. In the winter, the eco lodge is heated using infrared heating panels on the ceiling. Holiday home (Bach) - Waikanae Beach

This is our Bach we have set up to enjoy with our family and friends. If you would like to use it for a weekend or short stays get in touch with us. (Free Wifi). It is a 2 minute walk to the beach. A bach is a small, often very modest holiday home or beach house. Baches are an iconic part of New Zealand history and culture, especially in the middle of the 20th century, where they symbolised the beach holiday lifestyle that was becoming more accessible.

It is a short walk to great local cafes/restaurants, a bakery & two well stocked dairies. Continental breakfast provisions provided for all guests. Linen, towels and beach towels provided. Our cleaner sorts the house after the stay.
