The renovation was designed to have the least possible environmental impact. All the wood for the door and window frames, floors, baseboards, rafters, struts, and beams are from eucalyptus trees planted on the property. The sewage is treated by biodigesters. The heating of the house and the pool are by solar energy. Wood from the old roof or eucalyptus was used for the floors. The use of ceramic floors that use a lot of energy in their preparation was avoided; instead of ceramic floor, burnt cement was used.

A casa é cercada de fragmentos de mata. Animais silvestres, insetos, aranhas e sapos podem ser encontrados, mesmo com dedetizações periódicas. No período de chuvas recomendamos veiculo com traçao 4x4 !

Eco-friendly treehouse, built and suspended in the canopy of a historic Jackfruit tree without nails or cement. Nestled in the Atlantic Forest, it offers a cool climate and views of the Paraty-Mirim sea. From above, you can spot birds and, with luck, other wildlife. Accommodation includes a small double bed, fan, mosquito net, bed and bath linens, and an open bathroom with curtains for privacy. Limited Wi-Fi at the top encourages reconnection with nature.

Chalé Paineira is a cozy place for those who want peace and quiet combined with a house that we also rent, the chalet has some books, TV and wifi, but it is not recommended for YouTube, Netflix and other video sites. Outside, there are hammocks and benches to relax. The place also has seasonal fruits (e.g. blackberry, peach, guava...). The surrounding nature is beautiful to admire.
