Built of masonry and wood, it has two decks with excellent views of the ocean and surrounding mountains. Because it is a preserved forest, it is home to some animal species such as opossums, lizards, squirrels and insects (including many hummingbirds!). The tip is to just observe them and, if necessary, use body repellents.
