Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Parghelia

We really enjoyed our stay at Carlo‘s house. It’s been beautifully renovated and was very comfortable for the two of us. The location is great with amazing views to Badolato and the sea beyond. The wine produced from their own grapes is truly delicious (we bought some home with us). Of course the apple cake stole the show! Unfortunately, it was unexpectedly cold and wet when we arrived in mid May. The fan heater was not enough to make the house warm enough for us, so we cut our stay short. We would love to return when is hopefully warmer and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay in this house again.

The apartment is very well located in the heart of Tropea’s old town, with the most beautiful sea-view. There are several very good restaurants nearby. It was quite hot and there was only one fan. Would have been nice to have had a second one, especially at night. Other than that, we can highly recommend this spacious and very well equipped apartment. Massimo was more than helpful with everything. He gave us many good recommendations where to eat, grocery shopping, etc.

This is a hidden gem! The most beautiful house in a stunning location. Totally tranquil and amazing hosts. Wish we could have stayed longer!

A perfect little villa in a truly enchanting setting! The house is located within a beautiful residence, with attention to the smallest details, quiet and very safe. The accommodation is clean, spacious and equipped with everything you need, parking in front of the house for a comfortable stay. Well-maintained green areas and common services. The villa is equipped with all the garden equipment, deckchairs, chairs, and tables where you can also comfortably eat or have a good coffee, surrounded by greenery. Convenient location to reach the sea and the main attractions of the area. Owners (David and Katrin) are kind and helpful. Absolutely recommended!

We had the best stay at Bruno’s place! It offers everything you need, plus it is very clean and pretty. There is a wonderful garden and a beautiful terrace. The location in Drapia up on the mountain is suitable for people who like it calm and enjoy the slow living lifestyle for vacation. Bruno and his wife are definitely the nicest hosts we ever got to know and we are so happy we decided to stay with them! Bruno offers help wherever he can and has perfect knowledge of what the area has to offer. All in all a perfect vacation we will not forget! We‘ll definitely come back :)

We enjoyed our stay. The apartment is very compact and well situated. Reaching the beach takes about 10-15 minutes, but expect to climb a lot of stairs on your way back.

I cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed staying at this apartment! It felt like being at home, a little slice of heaven right in the heart of Tropea within steps of one of the most beautiful beaches, with balconies all around the apartment overlooking the water, the street life and cafes, the best gelato and capuccino right underneath us at Tonnino's and with everything we could possibly need inside including a washer and drier which was so helpful with 2 kids! We were welcomed by Tiziana as guests when we arrived but by the end of our stay we felt as though we left as friends. She was always available within seconds for every need or question. Don't hesitate to book this apartment, you wont regret it!

Altea’s apartment is perfectly located close to both the main strip in the historic centre and the beachfront. The apartment itself is very quaint and the design mirrors the beachside lifestyle. The walls absorb heat particularly well and the apartment is fixed with a strong air conditioner, so it would make for a great summer stay. Altea is a very friendly and responsive host who was very accommodating with check in. There is minimal reception in the apartment and the wifi can be a little patchy so do keep this in mind, but you should feel confident that you will have a proper Tropean experience at Altea’s lovely apartment!

It was like winning the lottery to find this beautiful accommodation. Nicer than in the photos and the view from the balcony - priceless! Beautifully situated, 5 minutes by car from Tropea center. Since we were there without a car and it was quite steep up and down on roads without a sidewalk, Filippo "saved our lives". Incredibly nice and likeable, he always took us and picked us up wherever we wanted to go. In addition, great tips for beach, restaurant, etc. Domenica was also very warm. A great week that we wouldn't have traded for a star hotel. Great communication, uncomplicated process, magnificent view, picco bello clean and no concern remained unfulfilled. 10 out of 5 stars 😍

Davide & Laura’s apartment was just like staying in an authentic Italian home. It had everything you could need & the huge balcony was a bonus. They communicated well before check in, Francesco met us & was delightful explaining everything to us. The complex was peaceful & a short walk to the incredible main beach, which we went to every day. We then accessed the old town for some amazing meals. Tropea was full of life, picturesque & very unique. We loved our stay, thoroughly recommend staying here.

We highly recommend this beautiful apartment. The view was breathtaking and the apartment was really nice. It had everything that you would need and Francesco gave us a lot of recommendations for the area. Both Francesco and Sophia were super nice and we enjoyed our stay a lot.

The stay was amazing. This is the first time I have met with such hospitality and willingness to help from the host. The apartment was perfectly equipped. There was literally everything that could be needed. The view from the huge terrace is wonderful. Very close to the beach, which in June was almost empty, also very close to a restaurant with very good food and very nice service. I highly recommend it.

Rachael’s place was perfect , very clean and very well equipped with good quality furnishings and appliances and lots of essential bits and pieces in the pantry. A short walk to the piazza where there were lots of restaurants and great places for morning coffee and biscotti. The beach is a short walk and Tropea is just a train ride away and definitely worth a visit. The view from the balcony is so beautiful and peaceful … loved watching the swallows on their never ending quest for insects 😁 Rachael is an amazing host and always responsive … we had an issue with our train to Naples and she was so helpful. Thankyou Rachael for allowing us to stay in your beautiful apartment … we loved our quiet little village of Pizzo❤️

The apartment is finished in every detail. There is an air conditioner for the living area and one for the sleeping area. The fixtures are excellent and create perfect soundproofing. There are mosquito nets, a washing machine, a clothesline, and a terrace that overlooks the sea, making you fall in love. The kitchen has everything you need, in fact we cooked lunch and dinner for the whole week we stayed. Perfection does not exist, but this Airbnb needs an excellence that we have never encountered to lose the right to be considered perfect. We felt at home in contact with the sea that we love so much.

Absolutely recommend this lovely, spacious and spotless apartment! Would have gladly stayed for longer. Excellent value for money. The location was optimal - a five minute walk to the historic center, but away from the crowds and noise. All you really hear is birdsong and the occasional chatter from the neighbors. There are many grocery stores nearby, and a great pasticceria around the corner with the most delicious croissants. I felt very safe as a solo female traveller. The apartment remained pretty cool even on warm days. The AC unit is in the bedroom and worked great. From the bathroom window you'll see a sliver of the sea. And the cutest neighborhood cats! The bed does need to be changed as it caves in, however I slept quite well once I changed the high profile pillow to a lower one from the closet. This is the only downside to the apartment. I had the opportunity to meet and have a nice chat with Giovanni, who was the most courteous and lovely person. Grazie di cuore!

The location of the apartment was wonderfully centrally located - right in the heart of Pizzo. We were in town over the Easter holidays and were thus able to follow the processions - even from the balcony of the apartment. Pizzo is a very nice place with great Italian flair and likeable inhabitants. The beach is also beautiful. The view of the sea is magnificent and everything was available. The kitchen is a separate space which is very practical. Once we had a problem with the window, Stefania was there right away. As compensation, she left us delicious pasticcini. She responded to our questions right away and was very helpful to us. At the beginning, she reserved a parking space for us. Thank you for the wonderful time in Pizzo.

The apartment was in a beautiful, quiet area with a magnificent sunset that you can watch. Mary was wonderful and helpful!

We had a very nice stay. The accommodation was great as well as the view. We enjoyed spending time in the apartment and in the area. Everything was very well furnished and everything you need was available. We will be happy to come back.
