Such a perfect get away for my husbands 30th bday! The backyard is so perfect for a great sunny summer day! The beds are super comfy too!

Beautiful location, loved the facilities especially the hot tub. Sumudu was really helpful when we couldn’t get in and when we left an item at the cottage. Excellent host.

Perfect place to stay - very clean and has great amenities. Plenty of open room in the house with an awesome backyard space. Enjoyed our stay, would return for another trip. Thank you to the hosts.

The cottage was beautifully done! Very clean, loved the decor & thoughtful touches Amazing views of the lake from every room inside including the bedroom, living-room, and kitchen. Pictures don't do a justice! Karen had some excellent recommendations for us and was very friendly and helpful and sweet! This place was top notch and we will stay again!

This place is an oasis!! It has a stunning view, great deck to sit on, is spotless and feels just like home! The beds were downy and the sheets incredibly soft, I didn't want to get up! But the view pulls you to explore! The cottage has absolutely everything you could want, in terms of kitchen and bath set-up, a huge TV and hot tub. The host is so lovely, responsive, helpful and kind! You couldn't ask for anything better! Truly a gem!

My stay here was incredible. I felt very comfortable and safe. The location is absolutely amazing, I’d recommend this place to everyone. Ben was an excellent host that went above and beyond. The place came with a pass to point Pelee park which was such a beautiful place. Overall the perfect place for a little weekend get away !!!

Sarah & Joes place , Chardonnay Bay was perfect for a little getaway. They were very friendly , and always responded promptly. The instructions made finding it and checking in a breeze. The home was spotless and very well equipped. The bed was comfy with all the linens and towels and comforts of home. A very short walk to the quiet cute beach , and a great local restaurant/ bar - the wreck. Would stay again and would recommend to anyone. Thanks for everything!

Brad’s place was incredible welcoming and appealing. Everything was exactly as expected and the bed was extremely comfortable!! This was a solo weekend for myself to get away for a bit so the only downside was how loud it was due to the neighbors and fisherman, but would definitely stay again! I can’t wait to come back with the husband and kids! Thanks Brad and family for a wonderful weekend and opening your boathouse up to me!!

What a wonderful place to stay! The views were incredible, it was super clean and the hosts were absolutely wonderful to talk to! They were very responsive and helpful with all of our questions. Definitely planning on coming back for a quick getaway in the future! My friends had a blast, especially when hiding Salty and coming up with a fun hint in riddle form! 10/10 would recommend!

Everything about this cottage was exactly what we were hoping for. It was right on the water and the sunsets were amazing. Very clean and everything we needed in the kitchen bathroom and bedrooms. Very comfortable and we loved the sunroom! The grounds were well kept too. And it was in close proximity to the ferry to Pelee Island and Point Pelee national park. I’ve already recommended this place to friends. We will definitely book this again if we are in that area in the future.

A GEM BY THE LAKE - With its lakeside location in a quiet neighbourhood, Rosanne’s property is super welcoming with a well equipped, large kitchen-cum-dining space, facing north, which is open to the south (back) great room, with its comfy sofas and chairs, games equipment and desk with brochures of local area points of interest, maps, etc. Through floor to ceiling windows of the great room, you’ll be treated to magnificent views of the lake inviting you onto the outdoor verandah to enjoy the sights and sounds (sunrises, sunsets) that’ll wow you! The second floor main suite is idyllic - a huge south-facing room with loveseat, ensuite bathroom, humongous closet and a balcony with comfy seating. Two more bedrooms (north facing) are on 2nd floor, with a 4th downstairs (west-facing). Another bathroom (east side) is also downstairs. Every space is extremely clean, well decorated but not cluttered. One of THE best homes we’ve experienced. Thank you Rosanne for hosting us and our pups.

We had a lovely stay. The location was perfect for the dog training workshop me and two of my dogs were attending. So close to the water with multiple options to access the beach. We will definitely be back again!!

Beautiful spot right on the water. Very private yard. House itself was very clean and modern. Had a great time and will book this again the next time we go down to Amherstburg.

Wonderful stay in this space! Everything was exactly as described, and the water views from the bedrooms were lovely. Bright, open, and inviting space. Well stocked kitchen and linens. Loved the kayaks, and the fire pit - so nice that dry firewood was included. We don’t make use of the game room, as the weather was perfect for relaxing outside, but it looks like a lot of fun! Very clear instructions, and friendly and responsive hosts. Would definitely stay here again!

We have wanted to visit Pelee Island for a very long time and so for my husband birthday we decided to come! All we were interested in doing was just to chill. The home was so perfect for our stay, Shelley was amazingly accommodating and we highly recommend The Cottage House. We look forward to another time here!

My friends and I wanted a weekend away just to chill and catch up. We did a wine tour on the Saturday and then hung out at the house the rest of the afternoon. The place was perfect. Beds good, well stocked kitchen and beautiful deck. Wish the weather had been warmer and not rainy - would have liked to have sat outside but it was still a great weekend in a beautiful vacation rental

Wow, Wow, Wow. As soon as we entered the cottage we were met with a bright, open and very clean space. The cottage is everything described and more. Very well appointed with everything you could ever need on vacation. The view is amazing with many areas to sit and enjoy the peaceful sounds and scenery. We will definitely return. Thanks to Joanne for a great experience and for sharing such a great home!!

A very cozy cabin and great location. The cabin was a perfect place to spend time with family or friends. It was a pleasant time spent with my family. The first two days we had a pleasant weather, so we went to beach. The beach is perfect for family with kids, and has a very nice restaurant close by where we could have lunch together. Next two days, the weather changed but we gladly stayed at the cabin, and enjoyed the fire pit, barbecue by the picnic table, and Jenga (they have a big Jenga). The pool table also made the nights more special. They have bikes available but we didn’t have a chance to use it but I think they are a bonus. We will definitely come back!

A cozy spot that was great for our relaxing getaway. Quick access to town and the ferry to Pelee. Tracy was super quick to respond to any questions we had.

We loved our stay. Very close to Point Pelee National Park. The park pass came in handy for birding each day. (We got to skip the queue with the pass). We loved the cozy feel of the living room with the gas fireplace. Nice to sit out on the dock and soak up the afternoon sun.

we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The cottage was exactly as stated, with a few added bonuses. The explanation of how to check in, what to expect, what anemities were available, what to bring, and even what to prepare for- down to the details of what to expect that month, or season was fabulous! In our circumstances, having rented the cottage while our home was under construction, Tim was phenomenal in responding quickly and ever so helpful! can't wait to go back again! I highly recommend staying here!

This "cottage/beach house" was exactly as expected and more. The house was decorated and outfitted with style and use in mind. The amenities were over the top, the kitchen and living rooms have everything you needed and didn't know you needed. Such fun decor. It felt like an escape which served its purpose. Andy's communication was quick and friendly. The house rules were easy to follow without feeling stuffy. The neighbours were even very friendly! We were greeted by all of them kindly. The area was quiet and calm. The beach was incredible with bird life all around us. Thanks for sharing the wonderful space with your guests!

We really enjoyed our stay at Shannon’s cottage. We were at Point Pelee for birding and this was the perfect location. Everything was as described and we felt very comfortable. Thanks for a great week!
