Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Pelee Island

This place was everything I needed it to be for my family! It was walking distance to my grandparents house which made this vacation sooo much easier! The house was very spacious and our big girls loved the rooms in the basement. The little ones we had definitely enjoyed the little swings set in the backyard also. I also love the fact that Connie is very easy to communicate with and very responsive! I will absolutely be back to stay at this place next time we come back to visit!!

John is a very courteous and caring host! If you are looking for a quiet peaceful getaway then this is the place!

We loved the home and the peaceful neighborhood. Make sure to walk over to Dellah Coffee & Brunch House for unique breakfast items and coffee. Great location and access to freeways and attractions in the area.

I can’t say enough good thing about this space! From the moment you walk in, the high privacy fence makes you feel right at home. The house itself is flooded with natural light and has high lofty ceilings. Both beds were extremely comfortable—which made the trip all the more better! Oh and our dogs loved being able to travel with us! Highly recommend his space as it was clean, pristine and beautiful.

David is an exceptional host. The place was clean and had everything we needed. He really made us feel as if we were renting from a family member. He opened up his home and allowed us to use whatever we needed. The backyard was great for our dog. David responded to any questions we had within 5 minutes even offering us a late checkout if we needed one. I would highly recommend staying at David’s place.

Gary’s 4 generation home was so inviting. There’s a huge L- shaped front porch with swing and lots of extra seating and tables to enjoy your meals or a place to read and play games. He has the kitchen well stocked with wonderful kitchen supplies for making meals. The beds were super comfy and the linens were very nice. His devotion to detail could be seen throughout each room. His place has a lot of room to relax, read or move about freely. It is close to the lake front and shops. Loved our stay so much!

This is the cutest little cottage with 2 bedrooms. It had everything you need for a comfortable stay. The decor makes guests feel happy. There are pleasant little comforts throughout the cottage that makes you know that Jennifer, our hostess, thought of everything. The yard is beautiful with a firepit and the lake right on its doorstep. A refuge for sure!

what a quiet peaceful place. My kids really enjoyed the swimming pool at backyard. And Casa give me a late check out for very low price.

What a wonderful, gracious host- always immediately responsive and helpful! The place was clean, inviting, quiet, and had everything we needed! Because of exceptionally poor planning on my part, Jennifer thankfully allowed us to check in earlier than the stated time - which made it so less stressful for me! One word suffices for our stay here - Perfect!

I had friends come out of town and we were all in agreement that this one of the best Airbnb's we have stayed at. The host provided us with every amenity possible but whats really impressive is that this house had absolutely every little amenity. So many convenient tools and gadgets in the house and they were all quality products. The beds were so comfy. The kitchen had everything possible!! We would come back here without a doubt. Really cute and beautiful house. Thank you for the stay!!

Great spot very convenient and walkable to town, nice open space, and I liked that it had workout equipment too in the basement. Check in and check out was extremely easy.

We love our stay at the Golden Home! Exceeded our expectations in many ways. Having never been to Lakeside before we didn’t know what to expect, but I can’t imagine it getting much better than this rental. Good amount of space, ample places to sleep, convenient to everything in the community. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to come back!

This cottage is a great reminder of a true lake house of old. It has character flowing out of every wall. The cottage is clean and very functional in a wonderful, walkable neighborhood.

A GEM BY THE LAKE - With its lakeside location in a quiet neighbourhood, Rosanne’s property is super welcoming with a well equipped, large kitchen-cum-dining space, facing north, which is open to the south (back) great room, with its comfy sofas and chairs, games equipment and desk with brochures of local area points of interest, maps, etc. Through floor to ceiling windows of the great room, you’ll be treated to magnificent views of the lake inviting you onto the outdoor verandah to enjoy the sights and sounds (sunrises, sunsets) that’ll wow you! The second floor main suite is idyllic - a huge south-facing room with loveseat, ensuite bathroom, humongous closet and a balcony with comfy seating. Two more bedrooms (north facing) are on 2nd floor, with a 4th downstairs (west-facing). Another bathroom (east side) is also downstairs. Every space is extremely clean, well decorated but not cluttered. One of THE best homes we’ve experienced. Thank you Rosanne for hosting us and our pups.

A very cozy cabin and great location. The cabin was a perfect place to spend time with family or friends. It was a pleasant time spent with my family. The first two days we had a pleasant weather, so we went to beach. The beach is perfect for family with kids, and has a very nice restaurant close by where we could have lunch together. Next two days, the weather changed but we gladly stayed at the cabin, and enjoyed the fire pit, barbecue by the picnic table, and Jenga (they have a big Jenga). The pool table also made the nights more special. They have bikes available but we didn’t have a chance to use it but I think they are a bonus. We will definitely come back!

Wonderful stay in this space! Everything was exactly as described, and the water views from the bedrooms were lovely. Bright, open, and inviting space. Well stocked kitchen and linens. Loved the kayaks, and the fire pit - so nice that dry firewood was included. We don’t make use of the game room, as the weather was perfect for relaxing outside, but it looks like a lot of fun! Very clear instructions, and friendly and responsive hosts. Would definitely stay here again!

I cannot recommend the hosts highly enough, but I do intend to try. My wife will certainly return for an even longer stay in the future. There are very few hosts that make guests feel like genuine friends on vacation, rather than paying customers. Jodi produced an invaluable list of dog friendly patios and wineries throughout the area, most of which we did not know catered to pets. We thought that we were booking a place to primarily sleep and use as an area base camp; what we received was a very private sanctuary to recharge and enjoy with our dog. The hosts were just THE MOST FANTASTIC people. Neither we, nor or boxer, wanted to leave.

We had the best weekend there we will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone to go give it a try!

This beachfront tiny house was a beautiful oasis for a weekend getaway. Host was helpful and responsive. The house was very clean. It was cozy and had everything we needed an more with plenty of space. The outdoor living space is incredible and the sunset views are breathtaking! Beach access a few steps away. Sits in a quieter neighborhood, but close to other local attractions. Highly recommend booking here and we plan to return.

A perfectly secluded hidden gem. Was the perfect spot for a girls getaway trip. The quick access to the beach was just what we needed! Place was clean and the amenities were just right. Will definitely be booking here again in the near future. Cheers!
