Cosy stay at Sam and Ta's place. Log fire was well thought out with all the gear to get a fire going quickly. Appreciated the little touches like bottle of wine on ice, semi skimmed and full fat milk in fridge and wide hot drink selection. Entertainment was great with large TV, Netflix and YouTube built in. Highly recommended for your getaway!

Where to start! I made a dramatic entrance a day early and Nick and family handled it fantastically. They made me and my dog feel welcome from the offset, despite interrupting the tennis! The hut was pretty, peaceful, and private; just what I wanted. Lots to see and do in the area if you want to, and Nick was on hand to give advice on local attractions, too. If you just want to unplug and unwind, Ty Gwyn is also the loveliest place to hide out and relax. At night I was treated to bats right outside my door, and a tawny in the distance. The bed was super comfy, and the log burner cosy. I loved it that much, I added an extra night to my stay. Alan (dog) had the best time, too. I wouldn’t hesitate to rebook, or recommend Ty Gwyn. Everyone I met on my trip was lovely. Wales, we will miss you!

It was such a pleasure to stay here with the most stunning views of the Brecon’s. Beth was a great host, friendly and very helpful. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable and relaxing. We will return.

I have stayed at Well Cottage since late 2024 as a home from home with working locally. This is a fantastic little gem with amazing views. The house is perfectly presented and was immaculate every time I checked in. The instructions to get there are excellent just make sure you download / print them as the local area has patches of poor phone signal at times. The amenities at the house are excellent with everything you need. Internet access is fantastic and the night time views are utterly amazing when you have a clear sky. It is a little out of the hustle and bustle of the towns but that is perfect for my needs. There are lots of local walks and if you don't mind stretching your legs there are a couple of local pubs within walking distance that also serve serve food. Kevin and Alice have been the perfect hosts and it is a pleasure to have called Well Cottage my (part time) home. It is on my list of places to return to even when my work in the area is done.
