A luxury 2 bedroom 19th century cottage, newly refurbished to create a perfect rural retreat. With a log burner in the living room, a king sized bed and bunk beds it is an ideal place for a couple or family to unwind after a day in the mountains. Well behaved pets are also welcome. Tucked away in the traditional Welsh village of Penmachno, surrounded by hills and forests, it's one of the hidden gems of Snowdonia National Park. Centrally located, it is a terrific location from which to explore.

Cooking, heating and hot water are provided by a real fire, light is provided by candles, and the loo is an eco-friendly compost toilet. The real highlight is bathing under the stars in a pair of al fresco baths. This dwelling is only suited to able bodied adults as there are steep paths, hot fires, and drops into the river.

Y Caban 1 bedroom cosy and unique cabin stay

Come and stay at Y Caban where you can leave behind the worries of the world and relax in luxury in this one off barn conversion. The cabin has its own small kitchen/diner, living room, bathroom and the bedroom is in an adjoining old converted stone barn. Please note there is 2 buildings, one contains the kitchen/bathroom/living area etc. And the other adjoining building contains the bedroom as seen on pics. So you do need to go outside and into the main area when you require the bathroom.

Ty Newydd is an award winning restored C18th farm cottage set in 8 acres of Soil Association certified Organic land. It is off road and secluded. Penmachno is a 10 minute walk, with a village shop and pub. The cottage is attached to three agricultural stone barns. Chickens, sheep and ducks graze the fields that surround the house. The front field is a rare upland hay meadow, full in summer with wild flowers. Inside is a working Aga cooker and wood burning stove [free wood]. Dogs welcome.
