Monthly Rentals in Petworth

Great little gem of an Airbnb with a lovely social living room space in a gorgeous little town. Hard to find but Lucy was very helpful. Not too hard to find local parking.

We had booked Peppermint cottage as a base camp for our daughter’s wedding in Lurgashall. Although the cottage is snug and homely we managed to accommodate our two daughters, a bridesmaid, son-in-law and 11 month grandson. We also entertained 12 the night before the wedding! It also proved to be a good location for a short walk into Petworth to explore all of the antique shops. Petworth House, National Trust, is not far away.

A very gorgeous apartment with everything you need and extremely clean. The location is amazing and it was a very enjoyable stay. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back

Although this is a busy country pub because it doesn't open till midday it is so peaceful in the morning. Sat out on our little patio overlooking the beer garden (very clean and tidy) across trees and fields. Pastries and fresh uncut bread provided daily for your breakfast. Good choice of cereal with plenty of milk and juice. At the moment I think due to staff shortages they are not cooking evening meals, however Jeff was catering for a private function so offered us dinner for Friday night, so glad he did. Lovely 3 course meal. They have a lunchtime menu and if it's anything like the dinner we had I would highly recommend a visit. All in all a cracking pub and location for Petworth and Arundel (House and Castle) Tom and Josh were working whilst we were staying both very friendly and helpful. Thanks for an enjoyable stay.
