Visit the beautiful half-timbered city of Wanfried in North Hesse. Wanfried is located in the Werra-Meissner-Kreis and borders Thuringia. Here you can go hiking, walking, cycling, swimming, canoeing on the Werra or sit comfortably in a nearby beer garden. The annex was completely expanded in 2019. It has become a real gem and we are pleased to offer this modern guest apartment in a prime location. In the immediate vicinity is the swimming lake at the leisure center, but Lake Werra is also just a short walk away. On the way there is an EDEKA supermarket. And the city center of Eschwege can also be reached in 25 minutes on foot. Around Grebendorf there are a number of hiking and cycling trails.

Sleeping places in the countryside, bakery, homestay

We live in the countryside with lots of greenery and fresh air and free spirit and are open to guests. The bake house, with traditional furnishings, wood-burning stove, sleeping loft and completely timeless comfort, is located separately on our property. Next to the house is the bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophize, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, purely minimalist!

Vacation in the countryside

On our listed 300 year old farm we offer: two separate apartments for 4 people each, with kitchen, bathroom and bedroom with two floors each and about 50 sqm. We are located in the Südeichsfeld, a gentle low-mountain landscape. Nature and surroundings invite you to hike or cycle. Draisine riding, visiting castles, climbing forest, visiting the Worbis Bear Park or excursions to nearby half-timbered towns are popular excursion destinations.

Family Waldkauz's guest house in the middle of the forest

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.

If necessary, a children's travel bed can be provided. The clay-plastered walls create a wonderful living environment. Aart's place

Aart's huis is a renovated old house in the beautiful hilly landscape of North Hesse, southeast of Kassel. In the house, 2 double bedrooms and 2 single bedrooms can accommodate 6 people. The house is equipped with Internet and each double room has a TV. The beds in the double rooms are each 180 x 200 cm, the single bed 90 x 200 cm, bed linen and towels are provided.
