Holiday rentals in Pieve di Chio

Wir hatten eine sehr erholsame Woche in Castiglion Fiorentino. Die Gegend und der Ort sind etwas weniger touristisch als manch andere Gegenden der Toskana, was uns persönlich sehr gut gefällt. Trotzdem erreicht man lebhaftere, touristischere Orte sehr schnell (Arezzo, Siena, ...). Das Anwesen mit dem großen Garten und Pool ist toll, das Haus sehr sauber. Die Einrichtung und der Standard im Haus ist in Ordnung, es ist ein bisschen, als wäre man im Ferienhaus der Oma zu besuch, aber die Anzeige verschweigt nichts und wir hatten es nicht anders erwartet. Somit war es für uns völlig ok. Die Mitarbeiter der Agentur waren sehr freundlich, die Besitzerin selbst (Giuliana) und ihren Mann haben wir kennengelernt und sie waren sehr sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Sie hatte uns am Anfang eine selbst gekochte Tomatensauce und eine Marmelade dagelassen und im Laufe der Woche noch eine Tiramisu vorbeigebracht. Ein ganz herzliches Dankeschön hierfür, Giuliana!

Posto magnifico, sulle colline di castiglion fiorentino a pochi km dal centro , accoglienza super, la dimora e' splendida, tutto curatissimo e al suo posto , cucina attrezzatissima , letti comodissimi , bagno pulitissimo e grande doccia . area relax e divani ampia e coccola :-) tutto travato in legno .... Gentilissimo Michele e la sua famiglia , nell'accoglienza e nel servizio . Assolutamente consiglio un we in questo paradiso , di bellezza tranquillita' , e relax :-) Merita !!!

Wow!! The home is beyond beautiful and extremely tasteful decorated. From the upstairs bedroom, the view is incredible. My family loved every aspect of the home and we enjoyed spending time together in the spacious living room. It is in the heart of Cortona, so we were able walk everywhere. Special thanks to Marialena, as she ensured we had everything we needed and helped us arrange rides from and to the train station. We can’t wait to return to stay here again!

Beautiful Farmhouse. Lovely place even better in person. The grounds are large and lovely. Great pool. You look out to the town of Cortona from the bedroom and kitchen windows. So relaxing super close a 10 min drive to Cortona 30 mins to Montepulciano. A great base to explore. Host super responsive we were late checking in sure to train delays and it wasn’t a problem. Even got to experience some of Federica’s fabulous wine. Would come back for sure it’s a gem.

Wir waren 4 Tage vor Ort und es war einfach traumhaft. Die Anreise war problemlos und Flavia hat uns sehr herzlich vor Ort empfangen. Nach einem kurzen Rundgang durchs Haus und einer kurzen Einweisung konnte der Urlaub beginnen. Ein Zettel mit Restaurant Empfehlungen und Ausflugszielen lag auf dem Tisch bereit. Nach einem kurzen Gewitter hatten wir Stromausfall, aber Flavia war sofort erreichbar und innerhalb 5min hatten wir auch wieder Strom. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants sind mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen. Ich kann diese Unterkunft für jeden empfehlen, der sich nach Ruhe sehnt und die Natur genießen möchte. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

We had a wonderful week-long visit. I wish we had stayed longer. The villa is beautiful. It is spacious, clean, with modern amenities and appliances but also has some very nice antique furniture and decor. The outdoor patio is really amazing, with views of distant Tuscan hills and farms, olive and cypress trees - a great place to eat and relax outdoors. Nearby Arezzo is a great place to visit. There are many interested museums, churches and places to visit in the older section of the town (including the Basilica di San Francesco with frescoes by Piero della Francesca), but there are also more modern parts of town with shops and restaurants, and ample parking. The villa is also within easy driving distance of many other surrounding towns (such as Cortona) and places to visit. Our hosts were super helpful and friendly, and we especially enjoyed the olive oil that is provided and made from the trees growing on the property. We would definitely stay here again.

Podere le Corticelle exceeded every expectation we had — and then some! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality that made us feel like part of the family. The host went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, offering thoughtful recommendations and making sure every detail of our stay was just right. The house itself is immaculate — spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and filled with charming touches that reflect the Tuscan countryside. The accommodations were incredibly comfortable, from the cozy linens to the spacious layout that gave us plenty of room to relax and unwind. Every corner of the home felt intentional and inviting. We especially loved waking up to the peaceful surroundings. It truly felt like a retreat. If you’re looking for an authentic, relaxing, and comfortable escape in Tuscany with a host who truly cares, Podere le Corticelle is the place. We can’t wait to return.

Wir waren eine Woche dort und sind sehr happy gewesen. Wir wollten nach einem familiären Schicksalsschlag flüchten und fanden genau das, was wir suchten. Ruhe, Natur, Erholung und sehr liebevolle Vermieter. Eine wahre Oase inmitten der Natur, und die Sonnenuntergänge haben uns schwer beeindruckt. Wir wurden super freundlich empfangen und was auch immer unser Anliegen war, jederzeit wurde uns sofort geholfen. Der Pool ist phänomenal und auch im September noch warm genug zum Schwimmen. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!!!
