Artisan Gem -2BR- Walk to river, coffee + more

JoyceRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
My daughter got married in a nearby town and this place was centrally located to venue and grocery stores. We chose this spot mainly because of location and access to a full kitchen. The place was very clean and kept at reasonable temp, did not need to adjust. It is in walking distance to an eatery. They also had a well equipped kitchen to prepare meals, coffee and tea. Also full size washer and dryer, made it easy to do a quick load. We had tons of food left over from our events and the neighbors were happy to receive it. I would stay again!!

We had a great stay and enjoyed the peaceful and beautiful atmosphere. Convenient location to restaurants and activities while also providing privacy. The cabins were cozy and charming and had just what we needed. Most importantly, the pups loved exploring and had a great time too!

Cedar Lodge, serene all wood escape, pet friendly.

SamanthaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Absolutely beautiful home! The wood cabin vibes made our stay feel so cozy. The house was very clean. The beds and couch/recliners were very comfortable and having multiple (beautiful) bathrooms was very convenient. The kitchen counters are gorgeous!! If anyone knows what kind of stone that is, please tell me! There isn't much of a grassy yard for our two little pups but we are just grateful this place allows dogs and there is so much to do in the area anyway. For anyone else with fur babies, Banner Elk Cafe/Tavern has a dog friendly patio and their food is amazing. And next door to it is My Best Friend's Barkery where our pups picked out a few treats and got some new harnesses. Alexander had quick responses and check in/out was very easy. Would most definitely stay here again!!

Lovely little cottage in a holler with creek and privacy. We had some light snow but roads were passable. Great place for small family and close to numerous activities.

Quiet Cabin On Top Of Mountain!Streams+Trails

Hygge Hideaway was peaceful, beautiful, and perfect for our pups. The house was cozy and had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed our daily excursions, but we also loved simply hanging out at the house. The front porch was a favorite spot, and from the beautiful flame azaleas blooming everywhere to the sweet painted rocks, strolling around the property was relaxing and something we’ll miss. There is a door-sized, screened window in each bedroom, and we slept with ours open every night. The hosts have been very transparent about a 4WD vehicle providing the best access to the property, and we would agree. We had no problems with our Jeep Wrangler, and if you don’t own a 4WD vehicle, rent one! The thoughtfulness of the hosts, the serenity of the property, and the endless amenities provided are worth the trip. We are especially grateful Kurt and Tricia welcomed our two pups and can’t say enough about their quick response to our questions. Paint a rock for the garden before you leave!
