Holiday home in Lucca
5 out of 5 average rating, 14 reviewsDimora Leone, grande appartamento storico a Lucca
MarnieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
A review from my uncle who stayed with us at this glorious place: —- DIMORA LEONE – GRAND, GLORIOUS, AND STRAIGHT OUT OF A HISTORICAL EPIC 🌟🏛️ If you’ve ever wanted to step directly into a scene from Il Gattopardo—Luchino Visconti’s sweeping masterpiece of Sicilian aristocracy and fading grandeur—Dimora Leone in Lucca is where that dream becomes reality. Except here, you’re not watching from the audience—you’re living it, and possibly looking better while doing so. Every room drips with Old World splendor. From the ornate gold-framed mirrors that practically demand dramatic monologues, to hand-painted ceilings that look like they were commissioned by Medici cousins who knew how to throw a party, this place is a Renaissance fever dream in the best possible way. Great location, host, water pressure, and comfortable beds. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Dimora Leone isn’t just a stay. It’s a standing ovation in architectural form. —— To which I say… ditto.

Home in Vico Pancellorum
5 out of 5 average rating, 21 reviewsTuscan mountain home with a modern rustic feel.

Airbnb asks you to write a review in few words. Mine is …….. Bellissimo Bellissimo, Bellissimo. But I can’t stop there. When you open the shutters of this beautiful home and all you can see are mountains, greenery and a church in the village, why would you go anywhere else to get away from it all? To other guests who are thinking about visiting Tuscany and having a taste of living in a small Italian village, with delicious food, walks with scenery to die for, then you cannot go wrong with booking this stunning location. Keith and Aisling make you feel so welcome and insist that it is your home for the time you are staying in this wonderful village in the mountains. Their home has a rustic charm and is spotlessly clean and so cosy. It’s also a great base to explore Lucca, Florence and Pisa. Don’t hesitate. Book it now if you are in need of some R&R and a place to re-charge and relax.

Holiday home in Capannori

Claudio and Maria Grazia are excellent hosts, we were made to feel welcome from the start. The home is spotlessly clean and has everything you need to feel right at home. The location is great for a base to travel to nearby Lucca and further afield to Florence, Bologna and so many other areas if you have a car. Equally if you want to have a quiet week by the pool there are a couple of good restaurants nearby within walking distance. It makes for a magical walk home with the way lit by fireflies. We had a wonderful stay here and are looking forward to returning. Thank you to Maria Grazia and Claudio for a wonderful holiday!

Farm stay in Valgiano
5 out of 5 average rating, 26 reviewsXII century holiday house with spectacular view
GreggRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Our family and friends recently had a fantastic 2 week stay at Villa Lean. We enjoyed the incredible views, the proximity to vineyards, restaurants, and hiking trails, and the rustic feel of the house. It was perfect for us - not too fancy or precious, and we loved Monica's friendly dogs, and Bebe, the sheep. Monica is a wonderful host, and she is the biggest reason for why we would want to return. Her dinners are amazing, and she works incredibly hard to make everything from either local or homegrown ingredients. And in our case she even gathered local herbs to make tea for a sick guest. And definitely take Giovanni's mountain village tour. It was a highlight for many of our guests.

Home in Massarosa
5 out of 5 average rating, 3 reviews"Casarosa di Mariasole" un'oasi sospesa sul mare
SailiRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Casarosa is a vacation house with the warm feeling of a home. Upon entering through the main gate, you are left speechless by the spectacular view. Once you recover from that and look in the opposite direction, you can see the beautiful garden with the pool, everything perfectly maintained. The house is spacious, comfortable, and well-organized. Everything was very clean. Casarosa has everything necessary for your stay. We lacked nothing, Cristiana thought of everything. But now let's talk about the decoration; the house is beautifully decorated with love for details. All the spaces are in harmony and transmit peace. Cristiana personally welcomed us and showed us everything we needed. She even gave us suggestions on restaurants and places to visit. Even after check-in, Cristiana was always available if we wanted to know something. We spent some incredible days in this place; our teenage children were also fascinated by the cool Insta-Spots they found in Casarosa.

Highly recommend anyone new to Italy to try San gimigano first. Staying here allowed us flexibility to explore other cities and had plenty of great spots in walking distance. Lorenzo provided fantastic recommendations and assisted with everything we asked for.
