Holiday rentals with lake access in Platteville

My family of 5 had a wonderful, relaxing weekend at this Airbnb. There was plenty to do for my 11, 15 and 17 year old whether it was kayaking, swimming, fishing, exploring the property, hanging by the fire or on the patio playing games, building in the sand or relaxing inside with a movie. The house had everything we needed since we brought our own food to make, the beds were comfy and there was plenty of space and spots to relax inside and outside. Thanks for a great time!

We had a great experience staying here. The setting is awesome if you like quiet country. It’s close to the lake and an easy drive. Amazing sunset from the top of the sand hill. And a comfortable place to stay. Megan was always quick to respond to my questions. I would recommend it.

Barb was friendly and accommodating throughout the weeks after booking leading up to check in. At check in she was super friendly to the girls who checked in and made herself available should we need anything else. Check in and out instructions were super simple. As for the property itself it was beautiful and well maintained. Yes there were dust bunnies, but nothing out of what would be ordinary for a lakeside cabin. The site had so much recreational things available on the lake such as kayaks and paddle boards and a dock to swim or fish off of. There was a fire pit right in front of the lake and PLENTY of firewood included in the rental. We had a bachelorette party for my sister so we were out and about most of the second day, but had we stayed in, we would have had plenty to do just on the lakeside. the beds were mostly comfortable and there was plenty of space. 10 out of 10 would return, and probably will with the kiddos at some point for a family getaway!

This was a great house! 7 adults and 3 little children. The kitchen is much bigger than it looks in the picture and was great for cooking family meals. Spacious with comfy beds and plenty of bathrooms. The absolute best part of this house was the huge back patio and side yard! The kids rode their scooters, played t-ball and soccer. We made smores each night by the firepit and enjoyed the hot tub. We never used the pool because there was just too much to enjoy outside. Short drive/ walk to Ogallala beach, beautiful views. Easy drive to town and to the 2 golf courses! Just a great stay!

Lots of space and beautiful scenery. We probably caught over 100 fish! We had great nights by the fire with plenty of wood and seating. The bedrooms were spacious and beds were more than comfortable. We loved our stay and enjoyed being outdoors and away from the daily routine living life like it should be! A beautiful place I’ll be talking about for many times to come!

This is my favorite type of Airbnb... authentic to the area. There was plenty of room for our party of 8. The home was clean and convenient to everything. It felt like stepping back in time, but with all the modern amenities. We all appreciated the intricate woodwork of yesteryear and imagining how the house must have been enjoyed in it's beginnings. My friend played a few tunes on the piano and we so enjoyed the large round dining table. Lots of parking for our vehicles as well. Time well spent with family and friends.

Holly's communication and response prior to our trip ensured we had the information needed to plan for our trip and check-in to the property absolutely hassle free. We were able to go to a local theater production within 10 minutes from the house, that Holly had assured us we would be we happy we had attended, and it so, so, so much more than we expected. We had our grandchildren with us and even with heavy rain and extreme heat warnings, there were tons of games for inside and they had a beautiful property to enjoy right there and then they we able take breaks inside to cool off. We genuinely felt peaceful and relaxed our entire visit. The house is the perfect distance from the road we never heard a sound. I have stayed at a few different Airbnbs and have never had EVERYTHING already in the home we needed other than our groceries. On our ride home, our grandchildren planned an entire second visit and "explained" to us exactly why it is the perfect place to return to.

Justin was a fantastic host with excellent communication. The unit was beautiful, comfortable and tastefully decorated. All of the amenities were wonderful including the indoor and outdoor pools. The unit had everything you would want for your stay and had a great location in the building with easy in and out access. What a gem! I highly recommend staying here for your next visit to Clear Lake.

I would highly recommend Matt at Gina‘s place in Spirit Lake. Very easily accessible to a lot of different attractions and a very nice, clean place that had everything you needed for a nice weekend stay. We will definitely stay there again if we can.

Our host, Matt, made check in/check out instructions clear and concise. We really enjoyed our stay in Okoboji. This Airbnb was stunning and impeccably clean. The condo was right next to the lake and included breathtaking views of sunsets with boats passing by. Our host, Matt, was quick to respond to our messages. We would give Matt and this lakefront condo a 10 out of 10.

We had a great time in this condo. It was a great space for a small extended family getaway with 5 adults and 2 kids. I wish we had more time to enjoy some of the other things in the Okoboji area!

The place was wonderful! It was centrally located on the property and everything was within a few minute walk. Great view of the lake and the fire table was a nice add for the chilly nights. The rooms were great with comfortable beds and plenty of storage. The kids loved the bunk beds, which was a huge bonus!

We absolutely loved our stay at 704!!! The place is very homey, relaxing, and inviting. The location is quiet with a beautiful view of the lake across the street. There is even a playground across the street which is perfect for littles! I was able to go for a few walks while we were visiting so I appreciated the quiet neighborhood. Kathi was very accommodating, kind, and very easy to communicate with! She even had toys for the kids play with as well as a high chair and a pack and play! I cannot not recommend Kathi and her place enough!! My husband is already planning our next trip to 704!!!

What a beautiful area! Stayed for a quick trip for a wedding and the walkable trails were a fantastic bonus. Clear easy entry and instructions, cute and quaint place.

Amanda was an amazing host for our team's week-long visit! She made our arrival and stay incredibly smooth by explaining everything so well. Linda was very responsive and helpful for check-in and for any questions that I had. The cottage was very clean and neat and had many very helpful things for our visit. I do think that with as much space as the cottage had that there could’ve been more than two guests allowed.

We were looking for a house that would house my whole family and be close to water for my sons and grandson’s to fish. While still having places for the girls to do crafts and play. The house its self was perfect, it was clean, and had everything we needed to prepare meals and have quality time as a family.
