The vacation home is located in the Sternberger Seenland Nature Park, is 200 years old and was formerly the ice house of the manor. It was completely renovated in 2017. The sauna, a canoe, a rowboat, a stand-up paddle as well as a table tennis table and badminton can be used free of charge. Groß Raden has an archaeological open-air museum with holiday programs and two restaurants. Fishing from the jetty or boat is possible. The Baltic Sea, Schwerin as well as Wismar and Rostock are about 45 km away.

The island of Poel is the youngest Baltic Sea resort in Germany. Our house "Poeler Mother Goose" is located in the middle of the nature reserve overlooking the Baltic Sea and the opposite skyline of Wismar. Especially in the off-season, we can enjoy the natural spectacle of migratory and breeding birds directly from our terrace. It is 800 meters to the natural beach, and all other beaches are accessible by bike. The island is perfect for families and nature lovers.

It is located on the ground floor of a holiday apartment complex and can accommodate 4 people, has 1 open living and kitchen area, 1 bedroom (+ 1 sofa bed in the living room) and 1 bathroom with shower and toilet. Restaurants, cafés, pubs, bathing areas and the spa are within walking distance. In addition, you can book 1 or 2 standups, if currently available.

Our cottage is located on the northern shore of the Plauer See, with direct access to the lake. Cycling and hiking routes lead along the lake. The unique natural landscape is very impressive and offers beautiful views of the Plauer. Nearest place is Alt Schwerin. It is a small village and has an agricultural museum, a shopping oasis with bakery, restaurants and a boat dock for steamer rides, which can also be easily explored by bike.

Bootsverleih, Wassersportschule (Surfen, SUP, Kajak) sind zu Fuß schnell erreichbar. Für Kinder ist im Haus einiges an Spielzeug und Buddelzeug vorhanden.

You are welcome to book our bed linen/towel service separately.
