There is a retro DVD TV, mini refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and hot plate. Up our driveway and behind our home, you have use of an outdoor half bath and internet access. Behind the shack you have a private bonfire, hammock deck, a composting toilet and a covered area with a clay grill in an outdoor cooking area.

This place is very secluded in the woods, very scenic! I saw a bunch of deer! It was very clean, WiFi was in and out, not a great signal downstairs where the bedroom is. Place was very clean, great for my short stay. One thing, which Michele did warn beforehand, there is no cell service for a mile or 2 when coming in. Waze took me up Howell Rd, which is not correct! If you are coming from the south on Rebels Creek Rd go past Howell and then a left on Castanea St. Very easy once I figured that out. Also make sure to get groceries beforehand. Your only real option is the Walmart in Spruce Pine, the Ingles has been closed since the hurricane. Overall a great stay! All brand new appliances and very pleasant! A+ Will definitely stay here again!

What a perfect Airbnb! The house was beautifully appointed, whistle clean, quiet and comfortable. Communication was great. The house is very close to downtown, but Spruce Pine got really clobbered by Helene. It is courageously fighting to recover. We ate at a wonderful little restaurant in downtown, the Tropical Grill, and had a really good meal and conversation with the owner. There are still quite a few nice little shops and restaurants still functioning. Be aware that the Ingles Grocery store is closed due to flooding. But I cannot recommend this Airbnb highly enough. Absolutely first class place!

I cant stress enough how amazing this cabin is for families. It was our second time and we always enjoy the outside time, the waterfalls, the views and just the quiet! Its amazing. Super responsive host and kitchen is stocked with a lot of what you already need! We brought our three littles and just brought a little babygate for the stairs. They take such good care if your fur babies as well. Looooots of carpenter bees and wasps but you can expect that because its the woods. The wasps dont bother you but the bees sometimes choose violence 😂Book this place now!! You will jot regret the entire experience…oh and the jacuzziiiiii….chefs kiss

ok seriously when I say I've stayed at more than 12 vrbo and air bnbs, Daniel was the best host I could have asked for... he answered so quickly everytime I had a question...faster than me even looking for a response... more than helpful when I had questions about the area...he could've told me to Google it myself but he helped where he could... the house was amazing so much to do that we didn't even leave several days... plenty of hiking and waterfalls nearby it was beautiful... we had 3 kids that stayed entertained the entire time... cooking was so simple he had good pots and skillets usually we come across really cheap ones that stick or you have to be careful with burning... there was wood plenty of yard space for the soccer goals didn't realize there would be a basketball goal was really happy to have that..the hot tub was great and because it was in the deck people could hang out and play cards or board games while still interacting with the people in it..you won't regret it here
