Monthly Rentals in Pohoiki Bay

We stayed for three months while building our home just 4 miles away, and Kunu was always responsive to our questions and concerns.

Wonderful rural location tucked away but not a far drive to Hilo, Volcano National Park, several beaches, farmers markets, other beautiful places to explore. The Airbnb had all needed amenities, really comfortable bed, plenty of space, games and books to read, a nice picnic table outside with a tent garage for the car so your luggage doesn’t get wet if it rains when you arrive, and even a robe and slippers which I am a sucker for - makes me feel so cozy when I am away from home! More than happy with our stay, we hope to come back!

We loved our stay at the Indigo House! The place was very clean and had fantastic natural lighting. We never had issues with bugs and never heard the other guests staying nearby. Very quiet location, and we adored hearing the frogs peeping all night long (there are ear plugs available if you don't!). We picked this stay because of it's proximity to Hilo (40 minutes to the airport) and to Volcanoes National Park (45 minutes). Even though most of our activities were based in Kona, we do not regret staying here whatsoever. If we can make it back when Kilauea is active, we will absolutely stay here again!

Bread, milk, eggs, biscuits, chocolate, coffee... all kinds of fruits were prepared in advance and were very delicious. They also thoughtfully introduced us to the surrounding environment, attractions, and books about the surrounding features. You can cook your own meals. The environment is very good, conducive to sleep, clean and hygienic. The garden is very large and beautiful. There is a self-service laundry. The host never disturbed us after we checked in. They extended our stay for 1 hour free of charge when we checked out. There is a large terrace, suitable for friends to gather and barbecue. In short, it is a very good experience. Very good
