Monthly Rentals in Pokai Beach

We loved our stay. Amazing ocean front. Everything you need is in the condo to include beach chairs. This place is in the heart of the local scene in Makaha. so, traffic is really bad on the one lane highway and it could take you an hour and a half to get to Honolulu. You really need a car to stay here. Also, the beach is always crowded well into the night and it can get loud. You dont need airconditioning because the breeze is amazing, but you cant close your sliding glass doors and lose the breeze. Thus, you have party noise especially on weekend nights. In summary, This gem is a 10 out of 10 for a couple that wants to get to an great place to just get away and not drive. You really feel the local culture, too.

Unit was very clean and organized. I appreciated the window coverings as the sun can get intense from large ceiling to floor windows. Nice unit.

Words fail me about the beauty of this view. The sounds of waves crashing on the beach as we fell asleep is something I’ll not forget for a long time. The pictures don’t do it justice. Walking into the condo, seeing that view, hearing light Hawaiian music playing in the background; this set the stage for one of the most relaxing weeks of my life. Close restaurants and groceries, no complicated neighborhood navigation, explicit per-feature unit instructions, local recommendations in easy reach. Everything was easy to plan through and around.

This place is great, every bit at luxe as the pics! It has a lovely yard with lots of flowers, palms and a nice sitting area under a gazebo (bring bug spray!) + outdoor grill. It's super well equipped for long stays, with tons of nice soft pillows, blankets and towels. The kitchen is fabulous with everything I could possibly want for cooking and baking for our family (minus a waffle iron 😉). There are extras such as q-tips, cotton balls, make-up applicator and removal pads, air freshener spray, hair dryer, etc. Pokai beach is beautiful, with lovely sunsets every evening. It's the perfect place for everyone, from small children up to experienced surfers. Depending on what kind of wave action you want, you can just move from left (totally calm) to right (surfing waves). Surf /paddle /boogie boards and all the beach gear: chairs, umbrella, snorkels, water shoes, sports equip, etc. Plus there's a handy wagon to pull all your stuff down to the beach. Would definitely stay here again!
