My friends & I recently spent a weekend at this beautiful home in the bayou, and it was exactly the escape I needed. From the moment we arrived, the peaceful atmosphere and stunning views instantly set the tone for a relaxing retreat. The house itself was cozy yet spacious, with a rustic charm that made it feel like home. Large windows offered gorgeous views of the water, especially during sunrise and sunset. The breakfast area overlooking the bayou instantly became our favorite spot for morning coffee and evening drinks. We spent most of our time outdoors—fishing, chatting with friends, having drinks/Momosas and just lounging around. At night, we grilled dinner, sat around in the “boom-boom room” as my husband calls it and watched the stars. It felt like time slowed down in the best way. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful, providing everything from extra towels to board games and local recommendations. Every detail was well taken care of, making the who stay extremely comfortable.

This was our second stay at Ramona’s and we thoroughly enjoyed it! The addition of the “Cowboy” pool put it over the top. Ramona is a lovely person and fantastic host. She’s responsive and leaves very clear instructions, making check-in and check-out a breeze! The interior of the home is beautifully and uniquely decorated, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped. And to repeat myself, the “Cowboy” pool was AWESOME. We spent all afternoon outside because the pool remained nice and cool. My family had a fun and restful stay at Ramona’s and we will definitely be back!

I highly recommend the Stanley House. This was my second trip staying there with family. Perfect getaway.

Our 3 night family vacay was so much more enjoyable than expected. It was a beautiful home inside and out. Definitely recommend and I hope to go back next year. The host, Cheyenne, responded immediately and was very attentive to any questions we had. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We went to my nephews graduation and chose this lovely home to stay in while we were in town. Very clean, and spacious. We had 7 people and it was perfect for our needs. We loved that there were two areas to gather in the evening to wind down, a few of us were in the living area watching a show where as others sat in the back game room watching a different show and playing games. I would highly recommend choosing this home. The neighbors were very polite, and the neighborhood was very quite in the evening time. We did go out to eat several times while we were there so we did not utilize much of the kitchen except for the keurig, and fridge and the random cup or plate for drinks and sandwiches but it looked well stocked if you chose to cook. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a place to stay.

Very convenient for working at Valero or Motiva. Will keep this place in mind next time I’m in port Arthur for work

Nice place to stay for a home away from home. Our 2nd time to stay here & we'll stay here again when we return to the area.

It was great worked very well for my family we were there for a funeral that had a covered dish afterwards so we were able to prepare our dishes when we arrived. It was nice to relax and visit after the long drive. Very beautiful place

I stayed here with my two year old daughter for a few weeks while I waited for my apartment to open. It was lovely. It was clean and comfortable. The host was very responsive and helpful whenever I had a question. I would say for a longer stay it would be pretty tight for 4 people. But 2 is very comfortable. The backyard area is very nice to have outside time. All the amenities work and everything was very clean. It’s in a very good location and easy to fine. Would stay again if I ever needed!

We had 10 people stay in this house. Everything was clean and fresh. Only minor complaint is that the description says sleeps 10 people, but only slept 8 comfortably. If there was at least a sleeper sofa, this house would get a 10 out of 10. The host was very responsive and the neighborhood was very quiet. Would definitely book again.

Definitely worth your money! Paola is welcoming and her space is upgraded. I went for my residency at Lamar University and was so glad to have a place to myself.

This house was perfect for my family! It’s only a 12-minute drive to Lamar University, which was ideal since I was there for my residency. The house was spotless, and Kayla even had snacks and water bottles ready for us—such a thoughtful touch after a long trip when all you want to do is relax without making a store run. The location couldn’t have been better! There’s a park nearby with a splash pad and a toddler playground—my little one had the best time! H-E-B, Walmart, and plenty of restaurants are just minutes away. Check-in and check-out were super easy, and Kayla always responded quickly whenever I had a question. Highly recommend!

The house was perfect for me. My wife and my son felt right at home did not have a single problem the host was beyond perfect We like the place so much I originally booked it for two weeks and extended my stay for over three weeks I can’t express how much I felt right at home
