Less than 10 minutes from Indiana Dunes National Park and Lake Michigan, our beautiful log cabin sits on 2 acres while still being in the heart of Portage! Our large front deck overlooks state land giving a beautiful, private view out of our large windows. Our cozy cabin has 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms with fun, thoughtful touches for your family including video game consoles, movies, books, a LOT of games, a pool/ping pong table, 2 fire pits, and more! McComb's Cabin, Union Pier, MI

Giant trees welcome you down the drive back to the cabin in the woods. The cabin, along with my house and a small cottage reside on the 2 1/2 acre property. A contemporary cabin of steel and pine with vaulted ceiling and sky lights. Open living space, inviting queen size bed, luxury rain shower, full kitchen but no stove. A wood burning fireplace- fall through end of March and outside fire pit. Public beach a 5 minute drive away. Couples check out the cabin for anniversaries & special days.

Only an hour drive from Chicago, and close to Indiana Dunes National Park, it is the ultimate escape. Note: We have a 3 night minimum stay during summer, but open up 2 night stays 1-2 weeks before if possible.
