Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Rapid City

We enjoyed staying at House in the Hill! The view was amazing. There was plenty of space for everyone. Highly recommend staying here.

Ample space for our large family and my parents on our visit. Close to routes needed to get to the local attractions we were hoping to see while visiting. Danielle went above and beyond to accommodate my mom’s physical impairment needs by providing her with a recliner chair and answer any questions I had regarding the space.

“I love this Airbnb house!” is a direct quote from my 9 year old. The house was clean and well kept. The 4 floors meant that everyone had space to sleep, watch tv, play a board game, or go at it with air hockey all at the same time. The beds were comfy and the back yard was nice and quiet. We really couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. We told all our friends about this house and will be coming back the next time we’re in the area!

Nice little place. A time capsule...reminded me of my Grandmother's house. It was easy to get in and out of town ...we were hiking the Black Hills trails. The fenced-in back yard worked well for the dogs. The street is very narrow and very rough.

We loved our stay! The house was the perfect home-away-from-home for our family vacation! The house is beautiful and the views are even more beautiful! We will definitely be recommending to friends and family!

Paul and Jana are wonderful hosts. The Haven is super clean, cozy, beautiful, and furnished with everything we needed. They are very thoughtful, kind, and hospitable. Their cottage is in a beautiful location with easy access to many destinations in the Black Hills. We would highly recommend The Haven.

This house was in the perfect spot for accessing both the parks we were exploring, but also downtown Rapid City. The neighborhood was adorable and safe. The home was even more adorable than the listing and we loved the space! Host was very responsive when needed. Definitely a perfect landing spot for exploring SD!

We enjoyed our stay at Josh's house in Rapid City. We liked the little touches they thought of, such as night lights in the kids rooms & bathrooms, toys & books for the kids, magnifying mirror in the bathroom, & of course, the sauna! They have remodled an older house & made it very livable for multiple families to stay. The showers were great, one was very huge, the kid's loved it, & the basement shower was a nice size also. There were plenty of towels & paper products to use, not something we have always had in other houses! The appliances in the kitchen were newer models, & even though we didn't use much for kithen items, it seemed like they had stocked the kitchen quite well. You don't have to drive to far to see most of the sights, Storybook Island can be walked to from the house, & other places we went were a short drive away. There were also a variety of restaurants within easy driving distance. Overall it worked great for us grandparents to take our kids & grandkids!

Excellent location in Spearfish. The loft is walkable to downtown and multiple parks. Great stay for our family.

Sophie and Josh were fantastic, easy to communicate with, and had a nice clean unit. They were very friendly, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had our needs met.

We absolutely loved our stay in Sage cottage! The space was perfect for us, clean, cozy, comfy beds, all that and super friendly chickens! What’s not to love?! It’s a perfect hidden retreat that guarantees to charm, from start to finish! Loved everything about our stay except that we had to leave too soon!

Great and cozy place to stay. Kathy and Blake are great people and very friendly. We trailed our motorcycle to S.D and it rained several days while we were there. They allowed us to use their garage for the motorcycle. Quiet place with a great view. Close enough to all the sites you would want to visit near Rapid City. Nicely decorated, felt like home.

Impeccable basement apartment perfect for my needs, wishing I could take this place everywhere I travel...super clean and comfortable...would stay again. Thank you Angie for everything.

This was one of our favorite Airbnb stays. The place was so clean, cozy, and peaceful—it was just perfect for our family. I loved starting the day with coffee and enjoying the beautiful view. The kids had fun playing in the toy area and hanging out in the loft, and the hot tub was such a relaxing way to end the day after exploring. The location made it really easy to get to places like Mount Rushmore. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for such a great stay!

This was a great place for our family of 6 to use as a home base for exploring the surrounding area (Rushmore, Badlands, Wind Cave). The setup worked well and we had plenty of space. Lisa and David were great hosts - very communicative. The place was clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend.

Great stay. Hosts were very gracious and warm. Cabins are on their farm, plenty of opportunities for our daughters to interact with goats, cows, etc. Cabins are very clean, and we enjoyed the delicious farm fresh chicken and duck eggs. Location is a bit outside of Rapid City but equidistant to a number of local attractions. There is a great swimming area with diving cliffs near by. It is well water supplied but not a big deal to us. Over all, extremely satisfied.

We just got home, and are ready to go back. It is beautiful. Drank coffee watching the sunrise in perfect silence with a couple of deer and few turkeys every morning. There is definitely everything you would ever need, and the cabin is so nice that you might not even want to venture.

Jessica’s place was in a beautiful and peaceful location! The place was very clean and made us feel right at home! I would recommend this place to my friends, family, and anyone traveling in the black hills area.

We loved this cabin. So many thoughtful touches. First time to SD & loved the area. Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park, Needles Highway & walking the town. The chuck wagon ride & dinner from Blue Bell Lodge was so much fun! Highly recommend for your visit to the Black Hills. Only negative for us is that we’d prefer a shower & not a tub/shower due to difficulty getting in & out of a tub.

Great cabin in a great location. Kari Ann was an excellent host. If we are in this area we would definitely stay here again

The cabin at the creek was peaceful and just what we needed to get away from the hustle of life. The sounds of the creek with your morning coffee set you up for a great day. Also saw wildlife in the morning down by the creek. Everything was very clean and Ross gave us great info on restaurants in the area. Ross is always available for anything that may come up. The cabin is centrally located to all of the many attractions near Rapid City. We will definitely keep his cabin in mind when we come back.

The cabin was an idyllic stay near custer. Easy access to all the park has to offer and local restaurants. The cabin was clean and comfortable with all the amenities we could need and more. Marilyn was a fantastic host. We’ll definitely be coming again.
