Beachfront holiday rentals in Rethymno

we had a great week at Maria's place. The covered terrace is the most beautiful room in the house with a magnificent view of the sea. The beach is less than 5 minutes' walk away, but beware, for people who have difficulty walking, the slope is rather steep to climb. Maria is very responsive and responds very quickly to messages. Agia Pelagia remains a small seaside resort very well located to visit the north of the island. Beautiful discovery

We stayed at Niki's seaside home for 2 weeks. It's the perfect place with privacy and very quiet, especially if you have to work remote. It is 2 min from the beach and walkable distance to restaurants. Niki was a great host, very welcoming and kind and helpful whenever you need something. She provided everything, from beach towels to all kinds if ammenaties. She kindly uncludes nice welcoming gifts and she goes above and beyond to help with your requests should you need something else. Really feels like home away from home.

Beautiful, clean, and very responsive. The stay was as advertised. This home is well maintained, comfortable , and close to everything.

Elizabeth and Lily's place is absolutely gorgeous. The house was impecable. Super clean. Very spacious, lots of bright light, and also has automatic dark shades. Towels were super comfortable, you get both shower and beach towels. We had a welcome basket with bread, jam, honey, there was fruit and water bottles in the fridge. Super attentive host. The house is probably the best one in the complex. Excellent view of the ocean, you can see some magnificent sunsets right from the balcony. There is also a terrace where you can have breakfast/coffee. The pool is super close, clean and gated with a keypad. Very secure area. Absolutely loved it. I wish I was there still. Will definitely go back and highly recommend it to everyone!

The place was exactly what we expected. Quick access to our walks . Downtown is within walking distance. We had a pleasant stay. Excellent hosting. Looking forward to returning.

I had an incredible stay at Giorgos' apartment! The sea is literally the backyard, and starting every morning with the sound of the waves and finishing the day with a breathtaking sunset was definitely a highlight. The apartment itself is very comfortable, and falling asleep to the soothing sound of the ocean waves was just perfect. It's an easy and beautiful 30-minute walk to Chania town, and the WiFi was great for working remotely. Giorgos was an amazing host, going above and beyond to ensure all our needs were met. This is definitely one of the best Airbnbs I've stayed in – highly recommend!

The place was great! We loved it! Close to the beach, great restaurants, walking distance to the old port and supermarket, not too far from the highway. The lodging was enormous and had so much room, ac worked great, having a parking space was very practical. Go ahead and book you won’t regret it.

Jeronimo is a really great host. Very, very friendly and helpful. We felt very comfortable and welcome right away. The accommodation is beautifully located above the small Soudabucht with magnificent views. Two recommended taverns are within walking distance. Jeronimo's bar is also great and not to be missed. We can highly recommend the beautiful, simple but functional accommodation.

The place is so beautiful and clean. The view from the outdoors is nice and peaceful. The scene of sheep eating grass multiple times a day in a small field under the pool is wonderful. (Photo first house) Maria, who showed us around, is so kind and nice.

We stayed at Nikos place as a family of 4 ( 2 adults 2 children 5 and 6 year old). we had a amazing time and the pool and garden with sea views are just amazing. beach is also a 5 min walk from the property. nice supermarket within walking distance and the caffe 20m away serves amazing coffee. The beds were very comfortable which makes all the difference. I would definitely come back and recommend it.

Incredible stay, stunning villa, lovely to walk into the little town, and a brand new restaurant opened called ‘Dusk’ a few minutes walk away which was 11/10. We adored the hot tub, luxury, all the little touches. Juicer for fresh orange juice and funky toaster. Thank you Crete is exquisite 💖💖💖

We had a wonderful stay in a large, modern house. Spacious kitchen and living area, nice terrace ideal for breakfast and dinner. Short walking distance to some great restaurants and bars and a nice stroll along the promenade to the old city center. Supermarket around the corner. House makes you feel at home and I was especially pleased with the piano :). Nice pool in the inner courtyard for a dip. The host, Efi, was very responsive. Can only recommend the place!

We had the best week here. It’s so peaceful and calm. The villa is stunning with sea views and so many areas to relax and enjoy the sun. It was incredibly well stocked and they left us lots of welcome treats and basics like bread, milk, juice, fruit, cake etc. would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful week! The house is as beautiful as the pictures and exactly as described. The two pools were perfect for both the kids and us adults and an absolute highlight. The welcome by Heike was very warm and she even got us some food for the first breakfast. Here the guest is in the foreground and it lacks nothing :)

Highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking to stay in the area. The house was exactly as described and as pictured in the listing. Antonis was a great host and went above and beyond in many ways (helping with directions, providing local recommendations, leaving welcome treats and even giving us a departure gift). The house had everything you need and the pool was incredible. The town and beaches were also amazing!

We had a wonderful time at Nikos's place. Nikos was great, he's probably one of the friendliest hosts I've ever encountered on Airbnb. The place was exactly like in the photos, clean and cozy, and the host was always helpful and answered our questions whenever we had some.

A great little spot right on the sea with a nice private balcony and plenty of space for a couple. Excellent hospitality with curated guide book for the area. We would happily stay with them again!

Eftychia is an exceptional host, very welcoming. She had planned a lot of nice touches. The apartment is beautiful and very clean. The area is very good, close to the old town on foot. I recommend it!

Very nice, well-appointed, bright and very clean apartment with a superb airy terrace with a shaded area that allows you to have lunch and dinner outside while enjoying the view. The listing description and photos are accurate. Nikolaos is very welcoming yet discreet. He gave us some great recommendations. And kindly offered fruit and vegetables from his garden. We had a great stay. And recommend the rental.

Beautiful, spacious, clean apartment with a nice view to the sea. It's close to everything.

We loved our stay here! It is a great location - super close to the beach and a short walk into old town. The place is beautiful - so clean and beautifully decorated. We felt so at home. Such lovely touches - fruit, coffee pods, earbuds, cotton balls, bamboo toothbrushes etc. Marilena was really responsive, very clear check in and check out instructions and such great recommendations. Would definitely recommend this spot to stay at if you are in the area.
