We had an amazing time at Elenis place! The apartment is very clean and has everything what you need. The beach is just a one minute walk away and there are plenty of tavernas to eat from with a sea view. The kitchen also had everything we needed for a breakfast. Eleni and her husband made us feel welcome and were always available. Chania is just about 20 minutes away by car. We would definitely come back again!

Perfect location right in the heart of Platanes. The rooms are clean, spacious and fairly priced. You really cannot find anything to complain about. In a word, fantastic.

We had a lovely stay at Lefteris apartment. We stayed 3 nights with the two kids. The apartment is spacious , has all amenities and is in a super location. Checking in and finding it was easy. I would definitely come back. It's better poop in person than in the photos

Stellas place is top standard! The apartment is lovely, bright, has a wonderful view and is close to everything. The service provided is great. Stella organised for a taxi to pick us up at the airport, communication was excellent, quick and easy. All our questions were answered right away and helpful advice was provided swiftly. Like other guests has stated… the place is above clean. All in all…. We loved Stella’s place. We have stayed at many Airbnb’s but we have never experienced a more professional and customer orientated service. We give Stella our highest recommendations. Thank you for having us - We will definitely be back 😊

The studio is well located with a beautiful sea view and very clean. It has all necessary things. Ioanna is very responsive :)

I highly recommend. Great location. it is very close to 2 beautiful beaches. close to shops with great supplies (bakery, fish shop). Across the street is a store that works almost 24/7, if you run out of wine at 10pm, no problem😉 There are super restaurants in different price categories. close to Chani. one thing: apartments overlooking the sea are from the street. This street can be busy, and sometimes there are vehicles with loud exhausts. If you're a person who's sensitive, keep that in mind. Epas is a brilliant host. I'll be back 100%. The apartment is very comfortable, has a terrace from the street where you can have dinner in the evening. The kitchen is modest, but it has everything you need, including a great and multifunctional stove. It was cleaned every day. The climate is quiet and working well. The bed is comfortable. Not too soft. You feel at home on the property. 10/10 pool.

Welcoming and supportive host. Easy and fast communication. Small cozy room and well equiped kitchen. Clean environment and daily changing towels. Quite place next to busy old harbour. Suprising welcome goods from the host. Definitely recommend.

Deb is a kind soul, very charitable, compassionate, and someone I felt I’ve now known forever despite only being there a week. She knows her town very well and can easily compile a short list of options given a vague outline or even more obscure, specific needs, often off the top of her head. Looking for a menu w rabbit? Done! Fountain pen cartridges? No worries…. Not sure I’d stay anywhere else in chania although next time perhaps not in the dead of summer during fleet week 😉

A haven of peace in the mountains of the Heraklion region. The accommodation is very clean, the garden and swimming pool are very well maintained. Charming staff is helpful. Enough to make you want to go back as soon as possible and stay longer.

Simply fantastic :) We had a very nice vacation in Rethymno and felt completely comfortable in the accommodation. The apartments are really something special with their great view of the old harbor.

Absolutely Perfect Stay – Best Apartment & Host Ever! I can’t say enough great things about this apartment! From the moment I walked in, I was blown away. The space is beautifully decorated with incredible attention to detail — stylish, cozy, and filled with thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. It was also exceptionally spacious, which made it perfect for relaxing and unwinding after a long day. But what truly set this stay apart was the host. Without a doubt, the most attentive and responsive host I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying with. Every question or need was answered almost instantly, and with such warmth and care that it made the whole experience feel seamless. Honestly, this was hands down the best apartment I’ve ever stayed in. If you’re thinking of booking — don’t hesitate. You will not be disappointed!

Even the neighbours were helpful & friendly! When we got there, I had neglected to read the instructions and announce my arrival. But we figured it out, and when I connected with the host, they were a big help with some useful tips. It’s still worthwhile to stop at the tourist office with specific questions as well. There are a million restaurants around. The better ones aren’t directly on the waterfront of course. It’s an easy short walk from the apartment to the harbour, and about 15 minutes from the main bus station, and although two blocks away things are lively, the apartment was quite peaceful and serene. We slept well!

Spent a week at this lovely accommodation with my family including a small baby. Very peaceful surroundings with a view of the mountains and sea from afar. Cleaning is offered everyday which was very convenient. Georgios was kind enough to offer us the corner room which has a bigger terrace and a clearer view of the sea. Just a few minutes walk from the beach and some nice restaurants. Bus stop is just down the road. Some feedback would be to offer some tea and coffee in the rooms as it would be nice to find some ready when you arrive. The single beds in the living room are a bit hard in case you are 4 people. The rest was perfect and the upkeep of the place is great. Thank you for everything, will definitely come back when in Crete :)

George's place was amazing. It is in the center of old town, but in a quiet location. The place is spotless and nicer than the pictures show, he really did an incredible job in hosting us. As a family of four with two teenagers the place was perfect and well worth the value. George was very attentive to our needs and one of the nicest people we've met as a host. He really went out of his way to recommend restaurants and even his local barber, also helping us find another place to stay as we extended our trip. George is truley world class and the unofficial Mayor of Rethymno!

Beautiful place in an excellent location to explore with our car the north/west and south of Crete and a daytrip to Chania of course! The apartment was nice, wifi was good with two different networks to connect to reach from all the apartment! We didn't use the pool though it looked nice and clean! It has also a electric stove and equipped kitchen with an eletric water boiler in case you feel like cooking (although it was at 100-300m of good taverns with accesible prices). The host was friendly, provided recommendations and always available and helpful! We recommend it and definitly would go back there if we travel to the area again!

Nassos's was a great host, provided link and websites to use for bookings. Was always responsive and also accommodate all my requests at his best. We did not stay long to use the pool, but have to say one of the best looking and cleanest pool I have seen in Crete!

Communication was more than excellent and the room was quite welcoming. Overall improved my experience of vacation there.
