Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Ribaute

Eric and his partner have lovingly restored and built this property set around the ruins of a 12 Century castle. It is astonishingly beautiful. On the roof terrace there is also a small shared pool. We were here out of season, but it was a lovely hot day, so Eric got up early in the morning to open and clean the pool for us. The inside is equally charming and the nights were super cold, but the heating works extremely well. Eric is an artist and also showed us his atelier- really beautiful paintings. I couldn’t recommend this place more. It is authentic with beautiful surroundings and the nicest possible host. I will recommend this to all my friends and would like to return for an extended stay.

Very pleasant cottage at the end of the world, in nature, and well located for discovering the region. Great welcome from our hosts, we took advantage of their advice, and very complete information packs on where to go.

such a beautiful, tranquil spot. we had a lovely couple of the days in this cottage in the hills, with beautiful surroundings. the hosts were very helpful and kind. one night we ordered food from a neighbour and it was amazing. highly recommend!

We spent 4 weeks in the gite and felt very comfortable. There is a beautiful garden with an amazing view of the Gorge de Galamus and beautiful different seating. Great kitchen with large pantry, invites you to cook. For shopping you are on the road for a long time, that was the only small downside. Very close to nature and authentic!

Beautiful accommodation, in a peaceful and pleasant place. Mélanie and Jean-Emmanuel were lovely and welcoming. We had a great time and will be back in a heartbeat!

Alexandra and Jean-Noël are particularly friendly and welcoming hosts. The studio they offer for rent is a bucolic marvel. The view is splendid, the interior cozy and the setting with the nearby walks and the animals that inhabit the place is incredible. We recommend Alexandra and Jean-Noël's accommodation to anyone who wants to enjoy a break in nature and calm in this beautiful region.

Claire and Peter are extremely welcoming, at the same time discreet, but attentive and responsive to any needs. The location is paradise for those who love the beauty of nature, silence, tranquility and simplicity. Ideal for browsing Cathar sites in all directions. The main room is spacious, comfortable and comfortable to live in. Also, the view from this room and from the adjoining terrace is really splendid. Too bad we came without our guitars, because we learned that Peter was a good guitarist and we could have shared a few notes. We highly recommend this place for all nature lovers. Virg’s apartment is spacious, classically French, located on the outskirts of Béziers city centre, and has all the amenities you could need. We stayed here for a week and ate in a few times, plus did some laundry. It’s easy to park on the streets for free nearby. Virg was a fabulous host - she met us for check in and check out, sent us recommendations on where to eat, and responded very quickly to messages. She went above and beyond to overcome the English-French language barrier in-person, and also helped us out finding some lost property within the apartment building. Beziers is a great place to stay - lots to do and eat in the city, and you’re only a 30min drive to beaches and other attractions. We would happily come back to this part of France and would recommend Virg’s apartment to anyone else.

Paul's studio is very nice and has everything. There's everything, and more. It's better than described in the listing and is in a great location. Plus, it's a place that has a soul. And this soul is given to him by Paul, the host, with his kindness, his attentiveness and his gentlemanliness. Thank you for everything. Highly recommended.

We had a very good night at this property. The host was available to answer all my questions. The accommodation was clean, well furnished and faithful to the photos of the listing. The beds were comfortable and the environment quiet. I would definitely recommend this accommodation for a night or a longer stay, and I will not hesitate to come back. Pierre

We had already come to Philippe's apartment and we found it with great pleasure. This apartment is really great. Great location, with a magnificent view from a very nice terrace. It is super well-equipped, very clean, tastefully decorated. Christine, Philipe's mom, welcomed us with great kindness, and really wanted us to enjoy our vacation by giving us little tips. Philippe and Christine are very responsive in communicating with their tenants. Highly recommended accommodation

Very comfortable and spacious accomodation with great views and easy access to the citadel and Ville Basse. Well equipped kitchen and several options for eating in and outdoors. Entertainment includes bicycles, table tennis and nice pool. Pierre communicated well and responded quickly to any queries.

Very beautiful house both inside and outside. Comfortable, quiet neighborhood. Florence was not there, everything is done by phone, very responsive to my questions and very good advice for visits to do around.

Very good stay at Gilles'! The garden and pool are quiet and not overlooked. The outdoor kitchen area with barbecue and plancha was great for eating outside. Everything went well.

We had a wonderful stay at Corinne's house. The house is bright and spacious. The pool offers a very good refreshment in hot weather. There are seats in different places, in the romantic back garden and by the pool. The house is very well located above the village and the environment is very quiet. Many impressive sites  are accessible in 30 to 60 minutes  by car. Corinne was very friendly and helpful. Thank you so much!

Situated off a country road, down a little lane with two or three houses nearby, Guillaume's house offers a beautiful, tranquil respite from the world. The house is well equipped, very spacious, great kitchen, comfy beds, and the outside terrace is quite big and partially covered so you can escape the sun when necessary. Guy and Agnes, the parents of Guilluame, were warm and welcoming. Guy gave us an extended tour of his vineyards and pistachio tree orchard, which are just stunning. We had a personal tasting of his wine that was wonderful. We enjoyed the vineyard views from the terrace, loved listening to the great variety of birds and the stargazing at night was awesome. We need to go back!!

Cédric is great - stuck around to help us resolve a few unpredictable issues on arrival, and offered great support throughout the stay. Awesome location and views. Very easy to walk into the city, and lots of outdoor space to relax in. 100% recommend. Do not visit Chateux de Gaure winery though - it was a disaster. Should’ve stuck with Cédric’s recommendation!
