Had an amazing stay at the pod! The place was spotless when we arrived, very private and peaceful. Can’t express how nice the pods are will defiantly book again but for a full weekend

Such a lovely place to stay to escape reality for the weekend. Our hot tub was overlooking the most beautiful view! The staff were so friendly, would absolutely recommend to anyone who wants a little getaway!

Maaz was a great host and the place was lovely! It’s exactly like the pictures, if not better. My girls and I had a great time and this place was perfect for a little getaway to relax and sit back!

My partner and I had a really lovely time, the chateaus are discreet and private while being impressively large and welcoming. The site is very well maintained and beautifully presented. We look forward to our next visit.

Vicky is a wonderful host, was always responsive to messages and didn’t hesitate to go the extra mile for me when I had special requests for our stay. The location is amazing with a railway station right at the back of the lodge. Inside the lodge itself was beautiful and very clean and the highlight for me and my fiancée was the hot tub. We absolutely loved our stay there and had the absolute best time and cannot wait to return there in the future.

Unbelievable stay. I am a sucker for romantic hideaways with hot tubs! Have done loads but this place trumps everyone! My partner’s birthday- Katie decorated it as a surprise! Did not expect that. Luxurious, beautiful little touches throughout the lodge. The views to die for. Extremely comfortable. Perfect nights sleep. Quiet. Planning to return soon as want to visit Castleton and hope valley. Definitely well worth booking ❤️

Place was amazing and perfect for a lil getaway. Lodge was lovely, a home from home. The FLUFFIEST towels you have ever touched in your life! Hot tub was brilliant and the added touch of towelling robes and slippers which was so thoughtful. Binoculars provided too if you want to nosey at some birdies. The property felt private even though there were houses close by. Jason was great a responding and always friendly. Will visit again.

Just Wow 🤩! We were absolutely blown away on arrival to the accommodation. It smelt clean and it was ! From the luxurious soft furnishings to the comfortable and elegant decor. The accommodation provides everything you need for a relaxing stay . The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. A real home from home . We are fortunate enough to have a beautiful home and struggle to find a place that matches our lifestyle and expectations. However we are happy to say that we have found one ! The spa is excellent and a nice touch to enhance your stay . Thanks for sharing your beautiful place with us , we will be delighted to stay again soon x

We really enjoyed our stay, shame it wasn't for longer! The cabin was warm, cosy & comfortable & well equipped for it's size. Having a BBQ & fire pit was a great addition which we loved. We would definitely stay again & recommend.

We had an excellent stay at Christine’s place in Warton! The house was spotless, well-kept, and perfect for our whole family. Beverly was extremely friendly, welcoming, and always quick to respond to any questions we had. Her hospitality truly made us feel at home. Every single detail — from the beautifully set-up kitchen to the cosy fireplace — was so thoughtfully put together. The lush green surroundings and lodge-style charm made it feel like a peaceful hideaway. We had to use up some precious annual leave to make this trip happen — and honestly, it was worth every single day! If all holidays felt this relaxing, I’d be submitting leave requests a lot more often! The place was spotless, cosy, and had everything we needed — it truly felt like a home away from home. we were staying only for one night as a stop over to break our journey. The cottage was perfect for our needs and would highly recommend it. There were good walks for our dog and Maureen and her husband were so friendly and helpful, we felt at home from the start. If we ever need to stay in area again I would definitely try here again.

What a relaxing, beautifully appointed and tastefully accessorised lodge. We had everything that we possibly could need and the lodge was clean throughout. Additional garden was a bonus had the weather been better. We will definitely consider booking again in the future. Thanks Alma.

lovely and peaceful accommodation in a serene location. the view was just beautiful! perfectly booked by my husband for my birthday getaway. the lodge was well equipped and so clean with everything being easy to find. Julia was a lovely host and gave us a very warm welcome and showed us around the lodge and gave a lovely welcome basket with a cake which we used for my birthday.

This lodge was beautiful with amazing views over Lake Windermere from both the deck and the living room. The weather was a mix, but honestly, it was stunning whether it was raining or sunny, though the sunshine definitely made it even more magical. The lodge itself was spotless and had everything we needed, making it feel super cozy and like a home away from home. White Cross Bay Holiday Park was a great spot, really peaceful and in a perfect location for exploring, whether on foot or by car. We’ll definitely be back for another stay!

Nicky’s cabin was a gem and the perfect way to spend a relaxed weekend. The place was peacefully secluded. Tucked away surrounded by trees. Super cosy interior and serene surroundings. Nicky was a warm, responsive host who made everything easy. We left feeling recharged and already thinking of a future visit.

This is a unique and wonderful place to stay. Nigel’s artistry and craftsmanship show in every detail of The Carriage which he has lovingly restored to its former glory (but with all mod cons). Nigel was also a great host. The Carriage was a highlight of our trip.

The Chalet proved to be a lovely home from home for our 10-night stay. Dan and Jemma are super-friendly and helpful hosts. And the interior design is lovely. We particularly loved the polygraph / bar, record player, amp and record collections - and Jemma’s delicious homemade sourdough loaf! This was a perfect location from which to explore the many delights that Holmfirth has to offer. And yet it’s peaceful enough to enjoy listening to the birdsong / the rain (though there was only a little!). Thanks Dan and Jemma for a lovely stay!

Staying at Emma's lodge was an absolute delight! We were looking for a remote getaway with a hot tub, and this ticked the boxes perfectly. The peaceful, relaxing atmosphere made it the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Nestled on a charming farm, the lodge offered stunning views and a real sense of calm. One of the unexpected highlights? The friendly cows who wandered over to say hello around 11pm, it was such a sweet and memorable moment! Emma was a wonderful host, and everything about the stay felt warm and welcoming. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind in a tranquil, rural setting.

I thought the accommodation was perfect for what we needed for the price - i.e. to do the 3-peaks challenge. Comfy beds, clean, everything worked, nice location. Pods seemed to be well insulated both from a heat and sound perspective too, and the shower was great with good pressure considering the rural/communal space. Would recommend.
