Su is a fantastic warm, friendly and very accommodating host. The cabin is beautiful and very well equipped. The location is perfect for exploring nearby villages and is quiet and cosy. We had a wonderful night here

My friend and myself spent a couple of days at Little Nook for some peace and quiet. We absolutely loved the place. so pretty and relaxing. Everything we needed was on hand, including a fully equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds, spacious living area, and the hot tub was just wonderful! Sharon and Ralph were very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended. We will definitely return.

Little hidden gem....."The Dairy" is a cute little place to stay if you want away from the hustle bustle of the busier areas i.e Liverpool/Manchester but close enough to travel to. It's well equipped with everything you would need for a break away, we were only there a few night's but could have definitely stayed longer. The outside open garden accessed from the bedroom is so peaceful to relax in after a busy day or having your morning coffee. Easy access to shops for groceries, fuel station etc...highly recommend this place wouldn't hesitate to stay again. P.S - Phil thank you for the paracetamol it was a god send 😊

We had an amazing time in the Shepard's hut. The room was very well maintained and extremely comfortable. We enjoyed using the hammocks and making a fire in the evening and Dot was very communicative and made our stay very pleasurable.

I had an absolutely blissful stay at Johns place. It was wonderful to be surrounded by so many lovely animals, and the views from inside the hut are incredible. A very special spot.

Beautiful location in a peaceful valley overlooking sheep and cow field. Has everything you need and the hot tub is a massive bonus. Could not recommend it enough.

This Shepherd’s Hut is gem on the Pennine Way. The hut is very sweet and cosy and perfect for a night or two. View from the window is over the sheep fields and we spend the evening sitting outside, watching swifts, swallow allows and house martins circling above us. The host could not have been more friendly and helpful and we felt at home straight from the start. We couldn’t recommend this place any more especially if you are hiking the Pennine Way and want somewhere special to stay.

Beautiful place and outstanding scenery. Hosts very responsive and friendly. Everything was perfect and greatly exceeded our expectations. Will definitely be visiting again and I highly recommend this to anyone wanting the perfect break. Our dog loved it and the enclosed garden was perfect and large.

A beautiful little base for exploring the dales; with everything you could need, and stunning views. Everything had been thought of and we couldn't ask for more.

The farm barn was a cosy and delightful space. Beautifully appointed and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Alison gave clear instructions of how to find the barn and was very responsive. Fabulous peaceful location with beautiful surroundings. Fab pub , the Turkey Inn a short walk away , that does great food. Would highly recommend and will stay again. Lorraine and Paddy 😊

Had a fantastic trip to the peak district and made all the more sweet with the eyam hut! Hosts were incredibly friendly and gracious as well great at providing recommendations in the area. A great picnic basket was invited the room when we arrived, including some fantastic homemade jam 👌 bonfires in the evening and early morning really hit the spot! Couldn’t recommend more. Absolutely perfect long weekend at Peasecroft. The place is gorgeous and so well kitted out. We took a projector and had a movie night - the blinds are the perfect projector screen ;-). We bagged three Wainwrights, did a boat tour, tried most of the pubs in Coniston, had a spa day at Low Wood bay... perfect weekend and amazing accommodation. Couldn't recommend it highly enough! Fabulous little annexe, everything you need for a couple. Beautiful location, only 5 minutes out of Ulverston, with some fabulous restaurants. Easy access to all of the lakes, some fabulous walks and activities. Thoroughly recommend staying here. Very friendly and responsive host, lives next door so on hand for any issues and gives good recommendations for what to do and restaurants in the area.

Stunning cabin on a working farm with fab view and walking.

Louise has clearly put a lot of thought and effort into the Shepards hut. It’s such a cosy little space and had everything you need. The shower is excellent and there are plenty of pots and pans to cook. The location is exactly as described. I found the parking a little difficult due to the concrete bollards so if you have a big or expensive car it might be worth parking further up the road. The other thing to note is that the hut is located in a sheep field. It was fine for me as I grew up in the countryside but for those that didn’t, it’s worth noting you have to walk through it to get to the hut. Sheep can be quite noisy and smelly. They also attract a lot of flies. Overall, the hut is a perfect getaway and I would definitely come back again in future. Thanks again for hosting me.
