We had a wonderful stay! The apartment was very cozy and had everything we needed. Great view! The city is incredibly beautiful, with so much to explore and enjoy. Claudia also provided a very detailed guide that made everything so easy – from getting around to finding the best local spots. Highly recommend!!

This is a beautiful place! The pictures did not do it justice. It was open and spacious, we felt relaxed the minute we stepped in! We traveled with our 3 adult children and we had plenty of space. There were a lot of extra touches-fresh flowers, a cooler to use, swim towels, complimentary cake and wine, and blankets for use out on the patio. The parking was convenient as we rented a car for travel on the island. We took the path to town and wish we would have done this earlier to enjoy the beach. The view was mesmerizing and we even saw some dolphins! dolphins! We woredolphinsdolphins

Beautiful patio overlooking the ocean with sunshine in the morning and the afternoon. Convenient place to stay if you have rented a car! Would definitely recommend!

We were very friendly received by Connie, who accompanied us, presented the accommodation and gave all the information we needed to have a pleasant stay. The accommodation is very well located, quiet, and offers stunning panoramic views of the mountain and the sea. Its large terrace allows you to rest in excellent conditions after the days of sightseeing. It is conveniently located for the various hikes, tours, restaurants and beaches that this beautiful island offers. The equipment is very complete, in excellent condition, and goes beyond the description. Thank you again so much Connie & Johnny for your kindness, your wise advice and the quality of your listing! We will be talking about the wonderful stay we had at Filip and Renata’s place for a long time to come. The space is perfect for a couple or small family. The bedrooms and bathroom are spacious, the kitchen is exceptionally well stocked (there’s even Tupperware so you can pack sandwiches for a hike), and the outside space is comfortable, quiet and beautiful. Now I know why many other reviewers wished they had stayed in this location for the whole of their Madeira travels! The location is excellent for exploring the island and returning home at night is easy, especially with a dedicated parking space. What really makes this place shine are the hosts, especially Filip who offered many suggestions and treated us to fresh bread and other goodies. He was so warm and kindhearted. This is a gem of a property; do not hesitate to book!

Cristina was a wonderful host, always available with helpful tips and recommendations. The apartment was very clean and tidy, furnished, arranged and equipped in the best of taste. Stunning view, very quiet, even if very near to the expressway, and because of that perfect located to get everywhere easy and quick. Restaurants of all kind available within short driving time. Overall - very advisable!

very nice location and beautiful views. we had only been a little mistaken in how high the location of the cottage was. If you are on foot, this can be a bit challenging. Close to two beautiful levada routes! Everything else siper and beautifully clean.

Everything perfect! Agnieszka is a very hard-working, attentive and warm hostess! The Airbnb was sparkling clean and equipped with absolutely EVERYTHING you could need. She even took the time to show the somewhat more delicate journey to the Airbnb, but that is not a problem later if you are a good driver.😉 In the middle of banana trees, you have your peace and can enjoy the roof terrace for yourself. I am already looking forward to booking this gem again! Absolute recommendation for anyone who wants to enjoy nature in peace! Thank you Agnieszka!

If you’re looking for a quiet coastal cottage in Madeira this place is perfect. The view is beautiful with restaurants right around the corner. You’re steps away from the beach and beautiful hiking trails. The house is small but well kept and was very comfortable for two guests

This is once of the most beautiful villas we have stayed at. The pictures do not do it justice. The open plan space is lovely and the views are stunning. Emanuel was an excellent host, and responded immediately with any queries we had. I will definitely be coming back to this villa with other members of my family.

A nice and clean apartment with a very nice view - we had a great stay :) Tip: drive up the road to the house from above as it is very steep and narrow - the parking space is not for big cars😉

We liked the place and felt very comfortable. The communication was friendly and fast and we were provided with all the information. The house was sparkling clean when we arrived and a bottle of wine and water and a traditional spice cake were ready for us as a welcome. We were very pleased about that. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need. I would like to highlight the showers, which were not only very spacious, but also the fantastic water pressure, which made showering very pleasant. The complex is designed around the parking lot so that units 1-5 are below the parking lot and the large 6 (the house we lived in) is directly connected to the parking lot. So you always have a free parking space, no matter when you arrive. The village character of the place occasionally leads to dogs barking and the rooster crowing, but that didn't bother us. We'll be back.

Excellent host, very friendly

We loved our stay here. The surroundings of the area is beautiful, nestled in a valley and the gardens that the houses themselves are in are full of colour and have lots to look at. The houses themselves are clean, well equipped, we made great use of the shared kitchen and outdoor bbq. Don’t be put off by a communal kitchen, you still have your own fridge, kettle etc in your house and when we used the shared space we had it to ourselves. Everyone seems very respectful of the space to keep it clean and tidy. One of the best Airbnbs we’ve been too, in terms of comfort, equipment and location. Lauren was also always responsive and helpful. Would defo recommend this place ! I would say you need a car here, but then I’d say that goes for staying in medeira regardless if you want to see and enjoy all the island has to offer.

What a nice place! We stayed at Danny’s place for 4 weeks! The place is big, really clean and well equipped. Danny is an amazing host, really responsive and friendly. Would 100% recommend!

The accommodation is very well located close to the general partners. A home that matches the photos and is very clean. Clara is very kind, she is responsive. Communication was fluid.

Gorgeous spacious apartment walkable to everything in downtown Funchal - restaurants, shopping the water, musicians in the restaurant area were so fun! (Not near the house). All of Funchal seems to have some construction especially behind this building but I suspect u can’t escape that anywhere in Funchal. Otherwise it was a fantastic apartment and would definitely rent there again. Hosts were wonderful

Can’t recommend enough. Clean, fantastic space, great location. Marina really helpful and always responsive. Well equipped kitchen with everything for meals in but equally a 10 minute drive into Funchal. The view from the apartment is beautiful and the location means everything is easily accessible. Supermarket across the road. We didn’t hire a car because the location was so great.

We had a lovely time at Robert‘s place. Robert lives in the same house and was really friendly - he gave us tips for hikes and even handed us some herbs from his garden for some infused water. The appartment was nicely furnished and had everything that was needed. The views from the terrace for breakfast are amazing too! :)
