Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Ribeira Brava

We had a great stay at this place! The location is ideal – just outside the city center, but easily accessible with a nice (but very steep) 30 minute walk. In the immediate vicinity there is a well-stocked supermarket and a great fruit and vegetable shop where you can shop at local prices – quite unlike the overpriced prices in the market hall of Funchal. There is also one of the best bakeries in the city nearby – a real highlight! The property itself is top equipped, clean and offers stunning views over the harbor and parts of the city with its terrace. Throughout the day you can enjoy sun, including fantastic evening sun. A perfect place to relax – we'd love to come back!

The accommodation was beautifully located in a very quiet location with a breathtaking view. Everything was clean and furnished with love so that you can only feel comfortable from the first moment. It had everything you need, we also loved the many kitchen utensils and the grill, which we used every day. The terrace with whirlpool, lounge, loungers and table were the highlight. We spent a lot of time in the accommodation because we felt so comfortable. Calheta beach is 5 minutes by car and highly recommended. We also found the private parking lot great. Bruno and Maria are very accommodating and also asked how we are and if we need anything. The location was perfect for us, very quiet, lots of privacy and yet we can get everywhere by car. It has been sometime since I stayed in a real home-y and cosy house like Betty's. Our whole group (two families with small children ) was very pleasantly surprised by this beautifully decorated home. There were many essentials as well as some offerings by the host readily available. The location(although not very close to the historic center) is fantastic as it is possible to walk to some famous rock pools and a beach, as well as many restaurants, a mall and a supermarket. Would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat.

Manny and his son met us in the evening to welcome us to the apartment and run through the equipment and everything that we might need over our stay. The apartment was a ' breath of fresh air'...quiet and cool with the fantastic balcony....but less than 2 minutes to all the places of interest shops bars etc .. Ir was my first Airbnb abroad and others will have a lot to live up to! Manny checked in...but gave us privacy and the chance to unwind...canm0t recommended it too highly!

upon arrival we were very well received by Ana. She explained everything to us and we were even able to arrive a little early at the apartment. She gave us tips for sightseeing, dining, and also told us the nearest supermarket. Ana was at her best!!! The apartment is perfect, there is everything you need even more than we imagined. Thank you for everything! We were able to fully enjoy this beautiful island. And Gabriel spent almost all his evenings in the pool 😄 thank you again from all 3 of us

We wanted for nothing at our apartment in Funchal. The space was very well stocked and very quiet when the windows were closed. The view from the second floor was exquisite at night and the location was perfect for walking to excellent pastel de nata, restaurants and attractions. We appreciated the balconies for enjoying morning coffee and always felt safe coming to and from. Highly recommend location for exploring all Funchal has to offer.

The accommodation is great, everything as described and in the photos. It is a bit dated, but we felt very comfortable there. Bruno gave us a very warm welcome and showed us everything we needed to know. When there was a problem with the water pump on the second day, he sorted it out very quickly. We can highly recommend the accommodation.

A very peaceful and private place to stay in Sao Vicente. Being spacious and having great views makes it a perfect place to rest between activities. Beds are comfortable and closets are fantastic. There was port, fruit, and cake waiting for us, which was a welcoming touch. It is about a 35 min drive to Funchal and closer to an hour to get to and from the airport. Less than hr to elsewhere on the island. Notes: 1) Access: To get to the restaurants and shops is a steep climb with stairs or road, so be prepared to drive down or get some exercise :) 2) Parking and layout: The gated 2-car port is on the roof of the home and is at the end of the street where there is viewpoint parking. It may be a little tight getting in and out if there are cars. You go down 1 floor to get to the bedrooms and one more floor to get to the living room/kitchen and pool. 3) Shopping: There is a grocery with long hours down at the shoreline (10 min walk). Hello, José is a welcoming host, his home is very clean and comfortable. We arrived at night and were treated to sandwiches with cake, some eggs, fruits and vegetables, and cold milk. It was nice to stay in this accommodation. 😊

We had great views from the house of the area and the ocean. The front yard was a bit small for our group but was pleasant to be in. We were not aware of our upstairs neighbors, while the house is quite noisy. There were plenty of spaces with good beds and sanitary facilities. The area is very nice. We had a lovely time.

Pedro is the best thing about this place the man is a legend really kind and helpful goes over and beyond. The place is so nice pool is amazing with fantastic views. I can not fault the place. Over three floors we had 12 people in it and didn’t feel cramped. Book this place you will not regret it

A beautiful home and large enough for 6 people. Very clean and well equipped. 3 bathrooms! Parking is difficult, but with the video instructions it works, unless you have a very large car. We highly recommend this house if you like a quiet environment. Beautiful view. And a jacuzzi!!!

Our stay in Camara de Lobos went very well. Many restaurants nearby, very nice view, pleasant for walks, well located to explore the whole island. The apartment is very clean and very well-equipped. The only weak point is the difficulty of driving in the street because it is very narrow and dangerous for novices like us who know little about the steep and mountainous roads, and who had a rather large vehicle (Nissan Juke). With a smaller vehicle, it's easier and it's possible to park in front of the apartment. Very good stay.

We absolutely loved our stay. The seaside view is incredible and relaxing. We loved the access to grocery and restaurants right nearby and it was nice to be close but not right in Funchal with the crowds. Mariana was the best - met us for check in to show us around and sent lovely recommendations for our stay. We loved cooking at the apartment and listening to the sound of the waves. Don’t hesitate, you won’t regret booking this lovely condo!

We loved our week at Nuno's place! The apartment was lovely and bright, we loved to soak in the sun on the terrace. Nuno is very caring host :) Madeira's air is wonderful, and with the terrace door open, the apartment was always filled with fresh air- so good to sleep like that. The terrace is not too windy as well! Just the perfect breeze blowing by. Definitely would recommend the apartment!

The apartment was perfect for our family, a great base to explore the island. Well equipped for a family though we only used for breakfast, eating out in the many local restaurants . The bakery downstairs is fabulous , serving breakfast, lunch and snacks..

There were so many thoughtful touches: not only the essentials, but also extras like a high-quality blender, a coffee machine, and a generous supply of towels and toiletries. It really felt like a home away from home. The views from the apartment were stunning, and getting there was easy thanks to the convenient location and good access by car. One of the biggest advantages was the free underground parking spot, which was reserved just for us — a huge plus, especially in a busy area. Our host was incredibly kind, helpful, and responsive, making the whole experience smooth and pleasant. We would definitely love to come back and can wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and worry-free stay!

We stayed for a week with 4 people in a very nice apartment. We enjoyed the 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. Ideal for 2 couples. We highly recommend this clean and tastefully decorated accommodation. We enjoyed the individuality of the apartment and the outdoor space . It is up a hill but all good exercise ! The bus stop for the ride to Monte Palace Gardens is close by and makes a lovely day out . Carlos is welcoming and the apartment is lovely and clean .
